On December 12, 2017, 20-year-old Nolan Panchyshyn disappeared from Southampton, Ontario. On January 25, 2018, Nolan’s family reached out to Please Bring Me Home in hopes we could assist them using this platform. Even though we only handled cold cases, we decided to add Nolan to our website and allow people to send us anonymous tips. The agreement was that all tips would be forwarded to the appropriate detectives at Saugeen Shores Police Service and we would not investigate any further.
On February 19, 2018, a tip came in through our website which we forwarded to the Saugeen Shores Police Service. On or around March 16, 2018, heavy police presence was reported in Dornoch, Ontario. Based on the tip we sent to law enforcement, they were able to locate the remains of Nolan Panchyshyn. Two people were arrested and subsequently charged with his murder. We were later thanked by law enforcement for sending them the tip which led to Nolan’s location and resulted in two men being charged.
This was not the ending we wanted, however, we were able to use this platform to bring in “the tip” which helped bring Nolan home. The mission of this page is to create awareness around other recently missing people in the hope that someone might come forward with information about their whereabouts. Everyone deserves to be brought home.
