Louise Lejeune

Case Analysis

Louise Lejeune was last seen on February 23, 1991, in Montreal, Quebec. It is believed that she left after having a fight with her then boyfriend. He states that she left after their argument and he never saw her again. She was not initially reported missing. Police filed a missing person report a year later. Louise’s mother says that she had a habit of wandering off but would return home a week or two later. There are mixed opinions about whether she was known to wander off for weeks at a time. It is believed that she would have contacted her mother or step father after she left her home on the evening of the alleged argument; they lived only a short distance away. To date, there has been no sign of Louise. Update: Since the family contacted PBMH, Louise's sister's DNA is now on file in case it matches unidentified remains and her case is now featured on the RCMP's missing persons website.
