February 3, 2024 Today would be Lois Hanna's 61st Birthday

Today would be Lois Hanna’s 61st birthday. Sadly, Lois is not with us to celebrate what should be a happy occasion with family and friends. Something happened to 25-year-old Lois on the evening of July 3rd, 1988. She attended the “Celebrate in ’88” Homecoming dance in Lucknow, Ontario, on the Sunday evening, and returned to her home in Kincardine shortly after midnight. Lois never made it to work the next morning, Monday, July 4th.

A co-worker managed to get into her home later Monday morning when no one could get in touch with her. Lois was not there. Her purse and keys were in their usual place in a china cabinet, her outfit from the previous evening was put away neatly in her closet, her car was in the driveway, and there was a half-finished cup of tea sitting on the kitchen counter, almost as though Lois had been interrupted before she could finish it. Lois has never been seen nor heard from since.

The person or persons responsible for Lois’s disappearance must have said something to someone by now. Perhaps this was an accident, perhaps not. Regardless, Lois’s family and friends have been desperately missing her for over 35 years now. Lois’s mom Olive passed without ever knowing what happened to her baby girl. Someone’s soul must be weighing heavy.

The team at Please Bring Me Home has conducted numerous searches for Lois over the past five plus years and continue to work diligently on her case. If you’d like to hear more about Lois’s case, you can listen to Season 4 of Shedding Light Podcast at sheddinglight.buzzsprout.com

If you prefer to remain anonymous, you can submit a tip through our website at pleasebringmehome.com, or you can reach our Anonymous Tip Hotline at

The OPP and the Government of Ontario are offering a $50,000 award for information that leads to Lois’s location.

The OPP can be reached at

Our thoughts and hearts are with the Hanna family on this day.

February 2, 2024 Marshal Iwaasa last seen November 17, 2019

Marshal Iwaasa was last seen by family on November 17, 2019, in Lethbridge, Alberta. He told his mother he was visiting a storage unit he rented with his sister. His storage code and key was used on November 18; two hours later, the code and key was again used to leave the facility. His burned out truck was found in a remote area near Pemberton, British Columbia, on November 25, a 14-hour drive from his last known location. Marshal’s sister was notified about the truck on November 26; that same day, he was reported missing. The RCMP have conducted searches near the area of the truck but Marshal has not been located. Lethbridge police said that from the onset of their investigation, Marshal’s disappearance has been considered suspicious, but there is no “credible, corroborated or compelling information to suggest foul play or that the occurrence is criminal in nature.”

Marshal’s case was featured on Season 1 Episode 7 of Paramount’s Never Seen Again.

February 1, 2024 Oscar Reyes Lavacude has been located

Working with the families of the missing is more than simply searching for their loved ones. It’s holding their hand, listening, emphasizing, and trying to lessen the burden.

On Dec 8, 2023, Oscar Reyes Lavacude traveled from Colombia to Vancouver, B.C. He arrived safely around 4 p.m., and met up with a friend. At approximately 7 p.m., he went to his pre-arranged hotel, The Met Hotel, in Downtown New Westminster. He checked in and then according to the hotel, left at 5:00 a.m. on Dec 9. His last message sent to family was on Dec 8 at 7:06 a.m.

Desperate for assistance, his family reached out to us. We immediately put a plan in motion to search a specific location. We deployed a search team to the area. The police searched the same area for three days without success. A few days later, a passerby stumbled across a body.

A member of our team worked as a liaison between the family, who don’t speak english, the Consulate, Coroner’s Office, and RCMP, to expedite the testing of DNA. Yesterday it was determined that the missing man had been found. Since then, our team member has been in constant contact with all parties including the funeral home to ensure that Oscar is returned home.

The family now needs help getting their loved one back to Colombia. Please consider donating towards the below Gofundme.

January 9, 2024 Shelley Desrochers has been missing 8 years

This January, it’s been 8 years since Shelley Desrochers went missing, and this coming August it will be 15 years since Kathryn Bordato was last heard of. Please Bring Me Home is appealing once again to the public to come forward with any information they may have regarding the disappearance of Shelley Desrochers and Kathryn Bordato.

It is believed that Kathryn Bordato was staying at a Campground in London (possibly Fanshawe Park) and was last seen at or near Cavendish Park in London Ontario, the end of August 2009. Shelley Desrochers was last known to have been at Lorne Avenue and English Street in London, around New Years Eve 2015, and may still have been in the area around January 2, 2016. Both investigations are still ongoing by London Police Service and Please Bring Me Home, a charitable, volunteer organization which investigates cold cases of missing persons on behalf of the family and friends of the missing persons. It is possible that both missing persons are connected through one person of interest by the name of (Ronald) Kevin Fangrad, who is now deceased. Both women have been in contact with him shortly before their disappearance.

In March 2019, Kevin Fangrad was publicly announced to be a known threat to women in the sex trade. He died June 3, 2020. Investigators of Please Bring Me Home encourage any persons who were in contact with, or know of Kevin Fangrad between the years of 2008 and 2020, and especially during the time of the disappearance of Kathryn Bordato and Shelley Desrochers, to come forward and tell their story.

If possible, please watch Season 5, episode 9 of “Never Seen Again” (Paramount) It is possible that you have information you may not know you have, but by telling your story, could possibly bring us one step closer to finding Shelley and Kathryn.

Please Bring Me Home ensures your privacy and will not divulge any personal information that may come up. If you know anything about the disappearance of Kathryn Bordato or Shelley Desrochers, or have information about Person of Interest Kevin Fangrad, or know of anyone who may have information, please come forward now, so we may bring closure to the families of both women.

November 13, 2023 Luke Joly

Since our last post about Luke’s case a few days ago, we have had many wonderful people reach out to help fill in some more puzzle pieces. Thank You! We would like to keep this momentum going, so, as promised, we are going to continue to release bits of information over the next while.
There have been many many rumor’s circulating in North Bay and beyond, about a certain individual being involved in disposing of Luke’s body. This individual is related to one of the men who were “living” in the main floor apartment of 683 Sherbrooke Ave at the time of Luke’s disappearance. Luke was staying in the basement apartment of this house the night of his disappearance.
This individual has a reputation for being volatile and confrontational. He has told numerous individuals firsthand that he “drove the kid around, and took him to the bank”. We have received firsthand accounts of his statements. Although we know his name and many more details, unfortunately, as you know, we cannot release names, nor any further information than this.
If you too have heard this guy bragging and have anything to add, please come forward, whether or not you have previously reported this to police. Luke’s family needs answers, and that is what we are here for.
You can contact the North Bay Police Service at 705-497-5555.
Alternatively, tips and info (anonymous or with contact info) can be forwarded via Facebook, tips@pleasebringmehome.com, or 226-702-2728.
Please keep sharing and caring 🙏❤️. Thank YOU,

November 9, 2023 ANDREW BRYENTON has been located

As we always say at PBMH, it is never just as simple as trying to find a missing person. It goes beyond that. If you have followed us, you would remember a few posts about Andrew Bryenton. Below is a post from his mother Marlene Bryenton. It was our absolute honor to support you and your family throughout this ordeal.
UPDATE NOVEMBER 9, 2023:
Today, I have some very thrilling news for you. Our son, Andrew, will be arriving HOME this afternoon! MAMA BEAR can hardly wait to give him a big MAMA BEAR HUG! PAPA BEAR is also very excited!
I can’t thank my husband, Lloyd, enough for taking over the chores inside and outside our home for the past year. This was to enable me to spend 10 hours per day on the computer advocating for Andrew, joining hundreds of Facebook Community Groups, sending e-mails, letters, doing interviews with the media, writing daily Facebook update reports, and responding to thousands of Facebook messages. I love you Lloyd!
I spoke with the Humber River Hospital Director of Mental Health and Addictions, Daniel Tziatis, last evening. He provided us with all the details that Health P.E.I. had made for Andrew’s medical transfer.
Andrew was picked up at the Humber River Hospital this morning and taken to the Toronto Pearson Airport. He will be coming by plane to P.E.I,. on a stretcher, accompanied by a R.N. and respiratory therapist. Andrew will have sedation for the flight. He will be transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown, P.E.I. under the care of his psychiatrist, Dr. Robert Jay.
I spoke with Andrew’s nurse last evening. Andrew is looking forward to coming back home to be with family. His medications are starting to give him clarity of thought. He realizes that living on the streets is not where he should be this winter. He appreciates the fact that he is in Humber River Hospital with wonderful staff, hot meals, cozy bed, private room, and showers. Many thanks to Humber River Hospital for the wonderful care Andrew has received.
This is a year long dream, that is finally coming true! We sincerely thank Minister of Health Mark McLane for signing the Ministerial Order to facilitate Andrew’s medical transfer back home to the province he loves.
Andrew has a long road to recovery and he will have the support of his parents, sister, First Baptist Church family, marathon runners, bank colleagues, baseball, bowling, basketball, and curling friends.
Lloyd and I express our sincere thanks to the thousands of people from Ontario and P.E.I. who have followed Andrew’s heartbreaking journey for the past year. Many thanks to the hundreds of people who sent photos of Andrew with date, time, and location. Also to the hundreds of people who recognized Andrew and helped him to survive on the streets of Toronto homeless, by providing food, water, money and clothing.
Special thanks to my team who worked with me daily providing support, sharing their talents, encouragement, and guidance. Also thanks to those that wrote blogs and newsletters.
A very special thank you to, Maureen Trask, Missing Persons Advocate in Ontario and to Kerry McLean, volunteer investigator with the Please Bring Me Home non-profit organization. It was Kerry who suggested that I launch the PLEASE BRING ANDREW BRYENTON HOME TO P.E.I. PETITION. It presently has 11004 signatures from caring Ontario and P.E.I. residents.
Also many thanks to TEAM who provided me with guidance and support. They are an advocacy group for Mental Health Reform in Ontario. Special thanks to Karen Scott Booth who came to the Humber River Hospital to advocate for Andrew’s admittance.
The participants of this group include lawyers, psychiatrists, social workers, counsellors, police and parents with a vested interest in mental health.
Many thanks to a special couple in Ontario that welcomed us into their home and provided hospitality, pick up and drop off at the airport, transportation to the Toronto Court House, and transportation back and forth to visit Andrew at Humber River Hospital. They also took us for a drive around all the streets where Andrew walked thousands of kilometers. We shall never forget your kindness, generosity and love!
Also special thanks to the visitor that Andrew had throughout his hospital stay. Even though Andrew was a thousand miles away we knew and trusted this friend. He talked to Andrew for hours on his visit and took him special treats including Cadbury eggs, Cheesies, donuts, Tropicana orange juice and pizza.
Special thanks to Suzanne Dennison DCS., RP, (cert)OAMHP, Chief of Staff, Office of the Honourable Michael Tibollo, Associate Minister Mental Health and Addictions, Ministry of Health, Ontario.
Suzanne did research and sought legal opinion on the involuntary inter-provincial Ministerial Order and provided guidance.
Many thanks to Dr. Richard O’Reilly renown psychiatrist, and Dr. John Gray who provided me with a very important document titled Community Treatment Orders Evolution and Comparisons. This document was prepared FREE OF CHARGE to help Andrew, me and the P.E.I. Government initiate their first CTO in November 2023. I have been lobbying the P.E.I. Government for many months with the assistance of MLA Susie Dillon. Thank you!
This document drew attention to the fact that the proposed P.E.I. CTO has restrictions causing patients not to qualify for the CTO. It lacks flexibility and could tie the hands of the clinicians.
The Community Treatment Order is proactive, as it monitors and enforces medication for the mentally ill. It keeps people well and out of expensive hospital beds.
The two doctors highly recommend that the New Brunswick CTO be used. It is considered a modern GOLD STANDARD CTO. It best suits the needs of those that are vulnerable with mental illness and also the clinicians. It is effective and has less restrictions allowing the clinicians to best use the CTO to help those that are mentally ill.
When I was growing up my mother always told me, “Do it right the first time or don’t do it at all.” I hope that the P.E.I. Government will copy and paste the New Brunswick CTO because Islanders need and deserve the GOLD STANDARD CTO!
Special thanks to all the police officers that helped support us over the past 12 months. Many thanks to the Justice of the Peace officials who granted our Form 2 applications to take Andrew to hospital.
I am sorry if I have forgotten to thank someone. I have a very special pillow with Grateful, Thankful and Blessed, which sits on my kitchen chair. It was a gift from a very special friend. It is how I feel today.
I would like to introduce ANDREW’S ANGEL PROJECT. Andrew will need lots of encouragement and support to stay on his medications. He does not realize the love, compassion and care that Ontario and P.E.I. residents gave him. I would like you to let him know by sending letters or cards. Here is the address: Queen Elizabeth Hospital, 60 Riverside Drive, P.O. Box 6600, Charlottetown, P.E.I. C1A 8T5.
There have been hundreds and hundreds of people praying for a MIRACLE for Andrew. God made a way!

November 4, 2023 Team Luke

It’s been awhile since we’ve posted on Luke Joly-Durocher’s case. We’ve taken a little break from social media, but not from working behind the scenes.
We’d like to start sharing some information with you, in the hopes that you, the public, can help us fill in some of the puzzle pieces regarding Luke’s disappearance.
It’s been 12 1/2 years since Luke disappeared. In the past 3 years we have gathered a tremendous amount of information. And from everything we have gathered, it’s very apparent WHAT happened to Luke, and WHO was involved. The WHY and the WHERE are coming into focus.
Here’s a little background… as you all know, Luke was from Temiscaming, QC, but he and some buddies were staying with friends who lived in North Bay at the time, renting the basement apartment at 683 Sherbrooke. Luke and the rest of the boys left before midnight to go downtown. The female friends were still at the basement apartment getting ready to go out. Upon reaching Main St. a few blocks away, the guys tried to get into Blur Nightclub, but one buddy was refused entrance. So they crossed the street and tried Cecil’s Eatery & Beer Society, and they all got past the bouncer, except for Luke. It was at this point, at 11:54 PM, Friday, March 4th, that Luke and his male friends got separated, and they saw him for the last time.
We have a few witnesses who claim Luke headed up Wyld St after leaving Cecil’s. This would be back in the direction of the apartment. Most news articles state he headed west on Main St.
8 years after Luke disappeared, the police released a statement that Luke went to the “Voy” (Voyager Inn) after he left Cecil’s, at the other end of town. From all reports, Luke got a ride from here.
At some point Luke ended up back at 683 Sherbrooke St. His coat, cell phone, glasses and hoodie were all found here. We now know there was a “party” going on in the apartment on the main floor of 683 Sherbrooke St., where a number of North Bay’s dealers were supplying the party guests with drugs. We have spoken to many people who were in attendance that night.
In attendance here was an individual who lived in Temiscaming. This individual had a grow-op in his basement in Temis, which had been recently been broken into and some plants had been stolen. Is it possible this individual recognized Luke from Temiscaming? Does this have anything to do with WHY Luke disappeared? We know that many of the usual suspects made many trips back and forth to this guy’s place, in this guy’s vehicle. We know what he drove, we know where he worked, where he lived, and that he has since left Temiscaming and moved back to Sudbury.
If any of this sounds familiar to you, and you have any details to share, please contact us at tips@pleasebringmehome.com or call our anonymous tip hotline at 226-702-2728.

October 15, 2023 Neil McDougall’s has been missing for 38 years

Neil had been married just 5 months when he set off the Friday night of Thanksgiving weekend after dinner, headed for the town of Ayton. Neil and his wife Mary Ellen lived in Durham, and Ayton was about a 20 min drive away. Neil had brought a co-worker home with him after work, and was looking for that same worker this particular evening. We’ll call this co-worker “Al”. Neil ended up at Blondie’s Tavern, and various witnesses place him there watching a card game from a bar stool. He left at one point, allegedly with 2 other men (whom we refer to as “Russell” and “Doug”), to go and find his co-worker Al. Neil returned near the end of the night, stayed a brief time and was witnessed driving away in his pickup truck, and turning right, towards the co-worker’s house on Augusta Street in Ayton. Al’s wife at the time claimed that Neil had been there twice that evening, looking for her husband Al. From all accounts, Al had been at a friend’s property with another woman. Chances are that Neil was aware of this.
Neil did not come home that night, nor show up for his garbage collection shift the next morning for a business that he owned. Neil’s mother called Al the following morning, Saturday, to ask where her son was. Al claimed the last time he saw him was at the hotel. On Sunday, Al called Neil’s mom to tell her Neil’s truck was across the street from his house. One can assume it was not there on Saturday, or he would have said so then. Neil’s wife Mary Ellen had already reported Neil missing, but called the police again upon the discovery of Neil’s truck. They told her to take it home. The truck was locked, but Neil never locked his truck. The vehicle was dusty and dirty. Neil was meticulous with his vehicles, keeping them spotless and shiny. The ashtray was overflowing with cigarette butts. Neil did not smoke, nor did he allow others to smoke in his truck.
A witness shared the following story with PBMH:
The 3 men, Russell, Doug and Al, were seen one evening in the days following Neil’s disappearance coming out of a farmer’s back field via a dirt path/road. It was about 10 or 11PM. When asked what they were up to, the men said they had been to see a psychic who told them Neil was down a well across the road from the farmer’s property. It was noted they had shovels and flashlights with them. This happened to be the night before a large scale search in town was planned for the next day.(This well was subsequently located by OPP in the years following and excavated with no evidence found)
Other things of note:
Russell’s wife was playing cards at Blondie’s that night, and had asked Neil to watch her cards/money while she left to visit the restroom. Allegedly, Neil offered to walk her home, which was only a block from the bar. From all accounts, Russell was a very jealous individual with a temper.
Allegedly, Neil stopped in twice to see Al’s wife, looking for him. There were rumours of some “marriage counselling” happening on Neil’s part, that could potentially have been upsetting to Al, who also had a temper when he was drinking. Perhaps he was nervous Neil may divulge his purported affair?
And apparently, Neil had the keys for the weekend for Three-Way Demolition where both he and Al worked. The bosses were all out of town, and Neil was entrusted with closing up shop and running the show on Saturday, which of course never transpired. When the owners arrived back, the shop was a disaster with beer bottles and ashtrays everywhere. Was this just from Friday afternoon beers? Or had someone gathered there to perhaps discuss how to deal with a very serious matter?
Please, if you know anything at all, even the smallest tidbit of info, about Neil’s case, do not hesitate to reach out to us. Our tip hotline is 226-702-2728. You can also leave an anonymous tip at pleasebringmehome.com
Thank you!

September 12, 2023 If you follow cold cases in Canada, then you have assuredly heard of Dr. Mike Arntfield, Ciminologist, author, professor and consultant.

Last week, Brett Robinson, Director of Case Analysis for Please Bring Me Home, worked through a number of cases with Dr. Arntfield in London, Ontario. Dr. Arntfield provides valuable advice relating to suspectology, victimology and understanding cases that relate to serial killer activity. As a consultant for GED Match, he provides advice involving situations where the use of genetic genealogy may come into play, which applies to a number of cases PBMH is working on. As a former police detective, he also provides guidance on integrating with police forces, a trend PBMH is pioneering since their presentation at the Centre for Forensic Sciences to the Provincial Missing Persons Investigators Working Group.
Dr. Arntfield and PBMH are committed to bringing closure to as many cases as possibly, and hopefully adding to the four PBMH has closed this year and the twenty-four that have been closed over the past 6 years.
Thank you for all of the assistance Dr. Arntfield!

September 8, 2023 Disappearance of two men 28 years ago still haunts families

Owen Sound Sun Times Article-Scott Dunn
Victoria Weidemann continues to wonder what happened to her dad and his buddy when they went fishing one evening in 1995 and never returned.
Their disappearance 28 years ago, the discovery of their partly submerged canoe off Saugeen Shores, two paddles and two life-jackets in Lake Huron, suggested the worst. But their bodies were never found.
Weidemann was just 2 1/2 years old when Kirk Weidemann went missing. Questions about what happened to her then 25-year-old father have bothered her all her life. She’s 30 now, with four kids, and lives in Port Elgin.
After she posted about her dad’s presumed death on the anniversary of his disappearance, July 21, 1995, someone suggested she contact Please Bring Me Home, a missing persons search and tip-gathering group based in Owen Sound.
She did that near the end of July and has since met with an OPP officer who has a file about the case and answered some questions she had. She’s applying to get the file and is uncertain what her next steps will be.
She said the officer noted “discrepancies” in the files, which she’d first sought when she was 17 but says was denied because she was too young. She learned helicopters, the Coast Guard, OPP and ground searchers all looked for the men.
“Honestly, it’s been something that’s always been in the back of my mind,” she said. “Just for peace of mind, I guess, there’s so many unanswered things, it just frazzles my brain all the time . . . I’d just really like an answer.”
Some in her family prefer to leave what happened in the past, she said, adding it’s difficult to get some of them to talk about it. There’s a headstone for her dad above an empty grave in a cemetery in Mount Forest, where he grew up
Was he overwhelmed at having two kids and a third on the way and just took off? she wonders. “I think maybe hoping that he’s out there still doing something else is easier to accept than if he was just dead in the water for 28 years,” Weidemann said.
She also hopes by discussing the case publicly she might learn of people who know something, recall seeing something or could help her. “I really don’t know. It’s a huge thing that’s been bothering me for my entire life.”
Nick Oldrieve is the executive director of Please Bring Me Home. In addition to organizing searches, it hosts an online anonymous tips line and missing person archive spanning the country.
“That’s kind of what we’re seeing more of, is these people go missing who had young children (who) eventually grow up and become adults and are curious about their missing family member and reach out.”
He’s made a Freedom of Information request on Weidemann’s behalf for the case file on her dad. Oldrieve said “from my perspective there are oddities in the case and I’m getting very different versions of events what happened leading up to these men disappearing.” He didn’t want to say more for now.
Erwyn Cecil “Rody” Lippett also disappeared in the canoe that day. His son, Anthony Lippett, of Owen Sound, said he and his mother are haunted by it. “I still go to therapy every year because of it, it’s so traumatizing,” said his mother, Cathey Hutchinson.
Anthony was less than one year old when his dad disappeared. All he has are the stories people have told about him, photos and news clippings of the disappearance. “I’d like to get to know more information about him and everything.”
Since no bodies were recovered and they’ll never know for sure what happened, he said, he’s left to wonder, “is he still out there and just abandoned me? The closure would be nice.” “And then listening to the stories of my mother and all she went through . . . it builds up and builds up and it hits hard.”
He said he suspects police know more than they’ve said publicly. He’s heard stories there were two canoes but only one was found, two life-jackets and two paddles, a cowboy boot and a cowboy hat of Kirk’s.
Please Bring Me Home posted a brief summary of the disappearance. It said Simon Kirk Weidemann and Erwyn Cecil “Rody” Lippett went missing from the Brucedale Conservation, where they left in a 16-foot green canoe to go fishing around 8 p.m. on July 21, 1995. The canoe and some personal items were found in 160 feet of water about 10.5 kilometres from Port Elgin Harbour. Two paddles were found floating some 150 metres from the canoe.
The Sun Times reported at the time the wives and children of the missing men were staying with them at the conservation area, which is about 12 kilometres south of Port Elgin. “They just went for a canoe ride,” said Barb Scheuerman, who was Weidemann’s wife’s mother, in an interview at the time. “Kirk could swim but Erwyn couldn’t.”
Police told The Sun Times then that it was possible the men’s bodies would never be found, as had happened in similar incidents on the lake.
OPP Acting Det.-Sgt. David Greer in an email cited privacy reason for declining to discuss matters police discussed with Victoria Weidemann. But he said “we are currently investigating” the disappearance of Weidemann and Lippett.
A follow-up email added: “Following extensive air, ground and water searches, the canoe was located filled with water. Neither Lippett nor Weidemann have been seen since.”

August 28, 2023 A small group of PBMH members searched for Lisa Maas who went missing 35 years ago from Annan Ontario.

Yesterday a small group of PBMH members searched for Lisa Maas who went missing 35 years ago from Annan Ontario.
We started by excavating an anomaly located by GPR. The anomaly turned out to be tree roots and some larger rocks.
We then began gridding out a wooded area near evidence surrounding Lisas case, making preperations for spring searches.
The sun came up. The sun went down. Consistent conversations, searches and curious minds will fill the time in between those two moments until you are brought home.

August 20, 2023 Search continues for Jordan Holling

We want to thank all the volunteers who came out in the search for Jordan Holling. We could not have covered as much ground as we did if it weren’t for you. There was so much heart and determination put in as you all stormed through black berry bushes and unforgiving west coast terrain.
In addition we want to thank True North True Crime who came out to help search and for continuing to tell Jordan’s story with truth and authenticity.
Thank you also to the cadaver dogs and their handlers who came out and spent 3 long days searching in the heat.
We are incredibly humbled by the support the Campbell River community has shown.
Jordan’s story has touched so many and it was incredible to see everyone come together to help find him.
Although we didn’t find Jordan on this search, it has lit a fire under all of us to keep his story alive and bring him home.
If you have any information on where Jordan may be, please send us a tip. We want to hear from you.
We will not stop. We will be back.

July 30, 2023 Nathan has been missing from Toronto since May 12th 2023

Today a small group of PBMH Investigators, Directors and Searchers searched for Nathan with help and guidance from major advocates involved in the effort to locate Nathan. We are so thankful for the assistance from the advocates, Highlands Tracking and PBMH’s Director of Search and Intake for coming up with the search plan, and ensuring all volunteers were safe during the search.
As unfortunate as it is; as sad as it is; as terrible as it is, we searched today under 1 of the many theories being that Nathan went missing as a result of misadventure. We do this keeping hope at the forefront of our minds that Nathan is out there and that Nathan is okay.
We did not locate any evidence of Nathan today, however were able to cross a high liklihood area for misadventure off the list. We do have a few sites on the agenda next but remain hopeful that the theory of him out there and alive to be the theory that is true.
Onto the next. Don’t give up. Remain hopeful.
Above all else:
Nathan tell someone you’re okay.
If you know where Nathan is, tell someone.
It has been more than 2 months. Lets get Nathan home.

July 27, 2023 - Carlos Tomas Aranda Burgoin hasn’t been seen or heard from since July 7, 2023

“Carlos is a man that is very respectful, polite, and he came to Osoyoos BC for experience in tourism, for his career.” The family says they knew something was wrong when they lost contact with Carlos, who had only been in Canada for one month. His characteristics are very communicative with his parents, and family. The family is very worried because it is not normal that he doesn’t communicate for this long. Surveillance video captured Burgoin and his friends in a store the same day he was reported missing, According to the family, Burgoin was last seen in the Spirit Ridge Resort area.

He was last seen on camera at the reception desk at Spirit Ridge Hotel asking for assistance. Burgoin is unfamiliar with the area and speaks limited English. The police attended the location and offered to help Carlos however due to the language barrier and Carlos’ fear of police, he ran from the location and has not seen since.

July 25, 2023 - Volunteers Requested for Robbie Brown Search

Search for Robbie Brown on August 1st 2023, 471 Pefferlaw Road, Pefferlaw Ontario.

Robert “Robbie” BROWN has been missing since 4:30 P.M, on Saturday, August 3rd, 1968.
Robbie was last seen leaving the Church Of The Nazarene Summer Camp at 471 Pefferlaw Road, Pefferlaw Ontario.
An extensive search by the OPP in 1968 was unsuccessful.
This planned search has been analysed using modern SAR principles.

The current search area contains tasks that have never been previously searched.
As a result of the new information, a Search is planned for Robbie to take place on August 1st, 2023 at 10 A.M.
The Muster Point for Ground Searchers will be at the Church parking lot, located at 471 Pefferlaw Road, the exact location that Robbie was last seen.
All case research will be presented to the searchers at that time, and the Search Team will then shuttle to the Search Area.
The Search Area will be specific and targeted.

July 16, 2023 - The search for Lisa Maas continues exactly 35 years later

Exactly 35 years ago, Lisa Maas was about to head to a friend’s apartment in Owen Sound. They planned to celebrate the birthday of the friend’s sister at the bar later that night. What was supposed to be a fun night turned into a fight with her ex-boyfriend. After bar closing, Lisa and the girlfriend celebrating her birthday, drove to Annan to pickup a male companion. All three then headed to a party in Woodford hosted by the male companion’s brother. Lisa left with the male companion sometime after 3 a.m. and was never seen again.

While Lisa’s parents have both now passed, we continue to search for answers for Lisa’s sister, nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Today, over 60 volunteers showed up at the Annan ball diamond to help search for Lisa at seven different locations. Never before have we searched so many locations in a single day. If not for the volunteers, most of whom didn’t know Lisa, this search would never have happened. A number of bones were found which will be analyzed by our forensic expert. We also removed lots of garbage in our search, leaving the environment cleaner than before we begun. We searched near river beds, in ravines and forests, under rock piles and around old foundations. While Lisa wasn’t found today, we plan to return to one of the search areas in the fall.
A big thanks to Walker Aggregates for the use of their telehandler, along with paying their employees to assist in the search.
Thanks to Dave and Jim Hanna for the excavator, trailer for shelter, and their unwavering support to help find Lisa.
Thanks to Sue and Allan Campbell for donating PBMH hardhats, shirts, and organizing the donation of rakes.
We also want to thank the following companies and people for their generous donations:
Zehrs for the ice and water
Metro for the $100 gift card
Foodland for the water, ice, and ice cream
Chapman’s Ice cream
Little Caesar’s and New Orleans Pizza
Coffees from the Tim’s at 10th St West
Rexall for the water and chips
Bonnie Raynor Armstrong for keeping the ice cream cool
Tyler Robinson for the candies and chips
Miller Waste for donating a waste bin

July 13, 2023 - Michael Samdass has been located alive

What an incredible story. What an incredible family who never lost hope. I am pleased to share that Michael Samdass has been located alive due to a PBMH investigation in unison with Hamilton Police Service. But make no mistake, Michael was found because his family stayed loud.

In February of this year, Reed Research, a partner of Please Bring Me Home ran Michael through an extensive search in the hopes something would hit back as showing he is alive somewhere…..anywhere. Unfortunately, nothing came back to confirm he was alive and well. What did come back was information we did not have which gave us a view of his typical routines.

A few days ago, we ran a search and we got a hit back showing a man who resembled Michael but there were no other obvious connections. Yesterday PBMH conducted an extensive investigation to locate Michael all while coordinating conversations between the US, Hamilton Police Service and Diligence International.

After PBMH sent the investigative report to Hamilton Police Service, Hamilton Police Service connected with Toronto Police Service and they were able to positively identify Michael Samdass. Hamilton Police notified family in person immediately.

I am sure there are lots of questions, and we request that you give Michaels family privacy at this time.

We want to thank Missing Person Coordinator Kim Walker of the Hamilton Police Service, Diligence International, Reed Research, PBMH Investigator for Michaels case and Director of Search and Intake Kerry McLean for successfully locating Michael. It takes a village.

July 7, 2023 - Cameron March

Time feels so wrong to use as a measuring system when it comes to missing a family member. If you ask families, some days it feels like their family member went missing yesterday and some days it feels much longer than what is listed. It is mind blowing to us that we are here now, writing a post that it has been nearly 50 years since Cameron March walked away from his home to go play with a friend, and hasn’t been seen since.

Cameron March was 4 years old on May 7th, 1975 when he went missing from Burlington Ontario. On June 22nd this year, Please Bring Me Home conducted a new search for Cameron. This is the first search in years, and there will be many more to come. This search site will take multiple visits to complete and we have every intention in completing it in its entirety. While completing this site, Please Bring Me Home Investigation Team Members are exploring other avenues and will continue to push on until Cameron is found.

If you have any information regarding his disappearance, please contact us. Our volunteers are committed to finding Cameron and we are asking for your help.

July 2, 2023 - Over a dozen volunteers searched today for evidence related to the disappearance of Lois Hanna.

Over a dozen volunteers searched today for evidence related to the disappearance of Lois Hanna.

Lois was last seen alive at a dance in Lucknow, Ontario, 35-years ago tomorrow. After leaving the dance, Lois drove home to Kincardine. She made it home, making herself a cup of tea before she went to bed. When she failed to turn up for work the next morning, the search began. And it continues to this day.

Assisting us on the search was Lois’ brother, Dave, who was a catalyst 35-years ago in searching for his sister after police refused to get involved. Dave brought his mini-excavator to dig at a couple areas of interest. While nothing was found, we will return in the fall to run cadaver dogs.

If you know anything about Lois Hanna’s disappearance, please tell someone.

On June 7th 2023, PBMH’s Executive Director, Director of Case Analysis and Search Coordinator were invited to participate and present to the Provincial Missing Persons Investigators Working Group, organized by the Ontario Provincial Police.

On June 7th 2023, PBMH's Executive Director, Director of Case Analysis and Search Coordinator were invited to participate and present to the Provincial Missing Persons Investigators Working Group, organized by the Ontario Provincial Police.

We first want to thank this group for the opportunity to listen to what is being worked on to better support missing people and their families. Also for giving PBMH the opportunity to share what it is we do, and how we do it.

We first got to hear from Steve Kielt about adding in a Missing Persons Course within the Ontario Police College. We will be continuing that conversation with OPC on what we have learnt at PBMH that could be beneficial to add into the course curriculum.

We then got to hear from Detective Sergeant Steve Smith from Toronto Police Service on the use of Geneology when it comes to missing persons, and the current gaps within that use. Our hope is to add Geneology requests to our intake process. This could accelerate the action when it comes to identifying human remains and searching for familial DNA. Conversation-to be continued.

We then heard from Program Coordinator Debbie Harris from Humber College on a course they are offering to teach the use of Investigative Genetic Geneology when it comes to current and historical missing persons cases. PBMH will be continuing the conversation with Debbie regarding this, and other training available when it comes to physically searching for historical missing persons cases.

We then heard from the Ministry of the Attorney General about the Missing Persons Act. This act was enacted in 2018 and will be reviewed at the 5 year mark which is this year. They have received lots of valuable feedback on how to simplify certain parts of the act, allowing law enforcement faster response times on requests. This act has been and will continue to be a great asset for law enforcement as the missing are sought to be brought home.

Next we heard from Laura Yazedjian from British Columbias Coroners Service and Jennifer Sparkes of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. A considerable amount of time was spent here talking about the way that BC updates their provincial database for unidentified human remains, and how that would then connect to the national center for unidentified human remains. BC has done considerable work in having a very thorough system when it comes to logging this information. PBMH will be looking into this in the near future and sharing more when it becomes available.

During lunch we got to speak with members of Hamilton Police Service, Toronto Police Service and Durham Region Police Service about what PBMH does, how we operate, and certain hurdles that law enforcement faces when it comes to locating missing people.

After lunch was our turn and we put as much as we could into 1 hour. We spoke about how PBMH started, how it has grown, and we have surrounded ourselves with world class consultants. We shared how we were able to assist in locating Keith Campbell and Justin Yeo in April who went missing in 2023; how we excelled Derek Ritz case forward with law enforcement who went missing in 2017, and how we came up with a plausible search area for Cameron March who went missing in 1975.

Since the ending of that presentation, we have been overwhelmed with support and ongoing conversations about how we can best assist law enforcement when it comes to propelling a historical case into a next stage.

Last, but certainly not least, we got to hear from Maureen Trask. Maureen is an extremely important advocate for the families of the missing and has provided immense support for those families. Maureen has lived the nightmare of a family member missing. After her son was found by a private search group, she took that experience and used that to fight for changes in the missing persons system. I continue to be in awe of her courage and am so happy she is there for missing people and their families.

Maureen spoke a great deal about Victims Services being more involved in supporting families of missing persons, and has already made massive advancements with this. We hope to have a meeting with Maureen about this in the future to have an understanding of how we can help.

Again, we want to thank the group for allowing us to come speak and provide some insight into how we operate. Do we know how to do it all? No way. If we don't know how, will we find a way? You bet.

May 7, 2023 - The search for Neil Mc Dougall

PBMH conducted a search today for Neil McDougall, who disappeared from the Ayton area more than 37 years ago. The group of more than 30 volunteers assembled at Trixie’s Saloon on the Main Street of Ayton. As always, owner Tricia was a gracious hostess, opening up for us on her day off.

We saw some familiar and some new faces out to search today. We were honoured to be joined by Neil’s wife, Mary Ellen McDougall, and her family. PBMH members drove in from as far as Sudbury to assist with the search efforts today.

After discussing the search plans, the group headed out from Trixie’s to Station Rd just outside of Ayton at approx 10:30 a.m. Trixie’s was formerly known as Blondie’s Tavern back in the day, and happened to be the last place Neil was ever seen alive. Neil left Blondie’s after closing time early Saturday morning, October 12, 1985, and seemingly disappeared into thin air.

Station Road is an old farmer’s lane that was at one time used to access the train station. It was also the location where three men were witnessed coming out of the bush at night, with shovels and flashlights, in the week after Neil disappeared, claiming they were looking for Neil, after being told by a “fortune-teller” to look there.

As committed to the task at hand as everyone was, Mother Nature decided today was not the day to find answers. Volunteers were hampered by the rain, soaked and chilled to the bone. Spirits dampened, the group was disappointed but not discouraged. Plans are already in the making to return to the site in the very near future.

If you are interested in volunteering, please send us a message.

April 27 2023 Our search for Cory Lanteigne

Please Bring Me Home would like to thank all of the volunteers who came to our search for Cory Lanteigne on April 26. An area north of where Cory disappeared in 2016 was grid searched by a dozen volunteers, including family and friends of Cory, and was led by Highlands Tracking and off duty members of York Region Police.

Potential items of evidence were located, and we will be conducting more searches in the upcoming weeks. Special thanks to Kawartha Lakes Police, who arrived immediately and collected the potential evidence we located.

We’re hopeful that these searches will bring about closure in this case.

April 16th 2023 HAPPY BIRTHDAY DYLAN EHLER, PLEASE COME HOME

There is nothing more exciting for a 6-year-old than a birthday party with balloons, cake, candles and lots of friends. Sadly, the only thing happening this year on Dylan’s birthday is more extreme heartbreak and anguish. Dylan has been missing since May 6, 2020. We want to bring Dylan home.

Dylan was last seen at a house on Queen Street in Truro, Nova Scotia. Although it has been stated that he was only missing for seconds before the police were called and a search began, this timeline is definitely questionable. It is believed, by some, that Dylan was gone from the property for up to 20 minutes to a half an hour on his own. That means the search area for Dylan would open up significantly and it is possible somebody has seen something that they did not think relevant to the case due to the close proximity which the timeline previously allowed.

Dylan was last seen wearing a red dinosaur T-shirt, camouflage jogging pants, green winter jacket with orange lining and American patches, a faux fur hood and orange and grey rubber boots that were one size too big for him and were recovered in Leopard Brook on the day he went missing. It is unclear whether Dylan was wearing mitts or a hat.

Dylan’s dad will never stop looking for his son and any parent can certainly understand that. We cannot imagine losing a child and never having a final answer as to what happened but only questions on top of questions. The scenarios running through a parent’s mind are like a living, breathing nightmare on repeat, day and night. It is exhausting and debilitating, and Dylan needs to come home.

If you have any information regarding the disappearance of Dylan Ehler on May 6, 2020, please contact Please Bring Me Home on our website,

pleasebringmehome.com,

email address tips@plesaebringmehome.com,

or call 1-226-702-2728 and leave a confidential message.

April 7th 2023 Owen Sound Sun Times-Keith Campbell & Justin Yeo

Today was not as windy as it has been. The searches were thankful for that. No bitter cold draft to hinder our efforts. Even though there was little wind; sometimes no wind at all, I still here and type this and it’s the first thing that comes to mind. You can’t see wind, but you can feel it. You can certainly get lost just listening to it, feeling it, watching what it makes move. There is a peacefulness to it at times. I witnessed a similar peace today; and although you didn’t see it, I will do my best to make sure you fell what we felt today.

A few weeks ago, Please Bring Me Home received and intake email in for the cases of Keith Campbell and Justin Yeo. It took some time for us to get organized, but we knew immediately that we wanted to help! Last weekend, we met with Keith’s family and began gathering information on his disappearance.

We spoke with the OPP and ensured they knew of our intention to search the area. It is imperative to share that the OPP conducted a large search in the winter for the 2 men and intended to return for additional searches once the snow began to melt. OPP and PBMH intentions were the exact same and PBMH had the means to complete a search sooner. We know that OPP would have located the men during the search, and we extend our gratitude for their efforts, their communication today, and their response to secure the scene.

Two days ago, posts were made throughout social media, looking for able bodied volunteers to work through rough terrain. Within 2 hours, we had 40 volunteers.

It was mind-blowing!

Approximately 45 of us met at the Hepworth Hostel parking lot today for 10am. After going over some safety points and separating into 3 groups, the search began at approximately 10:30am after Keith’s family wished us good luck and told us to stay safe. As you will see in the attached pictures, we had 3 main search groups, each obligated to complete 2 search areas throughout the day.

Group A began searching the woods behind the Hostel.

Group B began searching the rail trail in Hepworth.

Group C began searching the ditches in closest proximity to the Hostel.

In addition, property owners began searching their land, and 4 wheeler trail committee member began putting a plan together to search though trails. Group A was getting their line formed through the bush, and placing their 3rd flag in the ground when my cell phone rang. Upon picking it up, it obvious that one of the groups located a body.

While we were on the phone, a 2nd body was located within seconds, close to the first. The group was instructed to ensure they knew where they were precisely, and to call 911. Group A and the other search group were called back to the Hostel parking lot. PBMH contacted Keith’s parents and asked that they return to the Hostel and the news was shared that 2 bodies were located.

Another PBMH who spoke with Justin’s family earlier that day, contacted them and shared similar news. PBMH lead and 2 off duty officers assisting in the search made their way to the scene. Upon meeting with the group of 9 that found the men, it was evident that they had experienced and event that caused many emotions. After some discussion, the 2 off duty officers contacted Victim Services and asked that they make their way to the Hostel. The group of 9 made their way to the Hostel and awaited OPP arrival for statements. PBMH lead and the 2 off duty officers remained on scene until OPP arrived.

While waiting for the OPP, the first invisible gust hit me like a train. I couldn’t see it, but I could feel it. It was so quiet. I looked at the men. A tragic end absolutely, but I could not help recognizing that they looked peaceful. As if they sat down and simply fell asleep, still dreaming. I stood for a moment, looking across the area and could not think of a better word. Peaceful!

As soon as OPP arrived and they took over the scene, we made our way back to the Hostel to meet with the volunteers and Keith’s family. I parked my car at the back and walked into the main lot. I stopped.

A 2nd gust. A 2nd train. I saw this group of volunteers supporting Keith’s family. Many of them, never meeting before. Some hugging. Some crying. Some talking. All supporting. Strangers recognizing that their job is in complete. It is never just as simple as just locating a missing person.

You now are the shoulder, and leverage and the rock for them. A task the volunteers never even realized they began, and accomplished within the 2 hours following the finding of the men. They just knew as if with instinct, or that the wind told them to do so.

Victim Services and OPP came to the lot. There was a lot more tears a lot more support, and plenty of hugs. By 12pm, people were allowed to leave, and the day moved on. There are still many unknowns, and this is just merely the step before the next. OPP will do their  investigation and provide answers that will hopefully aid Keith and Justin’s family in their healing.

PBMH cannot express enough to all of the volunteers who came today to assist in the search for Justin and Keith.

This could not have happened without you.

To Keith Campbell and Justin Yeos family, our thoughts are with you throughout these next steps and all the days that follow that.

March 26, 2023 New eyewitness testimony in Luke Joly-Durocher case

Brett Robinson, the director of case analysis for Please Bring Me Home was hopeful the new information his team had uncovered would lead to the break in the case so many close to Luke have been wanting for so many years.

February 21, 2023 – Information Sought in Luke Joly-Durocher Case

There is an individual we would like to speak with regarding Luke’s case. Luke Joly-Durocher disappeared on March 4, 2011, from North Bay, Ontario. We have spoken to many witnesses who have heard him elaborate on what happened to Luke. He knows who he is. We know he is aware of our interest in him. He joined one of the online groups the day there was a lot of drama on our last post. If he would please respond to our repeated attempts to communicate that would be very appreciated. If he continues to ignore these repeated attempts, one has to wonder why… ~

December 15, 2022 – Michael Samdass to be Featured on Never Seen Again

Michael Samdass was last seen on September 5, 2019 in Toronto Ontario. In partnership with Please Bring Me Home, his story was featured on the CBS show Never Seen Again in episode 6 of season 2. In this episode, you can hear directly from Michael’s family as well as the lead detective in his case; they do a very thorough job of describing the details of Michael’s disappearance.

Please Bring Me Home has received several tips that Michael has been seen in Hamilton and Toronto Ontario. Through investigation, and in cooperation with the Hamilton Police Service, we’ve been able to confirm that the man in Hamilton that the tips have been sent in about definitely resembles Michael, but is unfortunately not him. We have yet to confirm any sightings in Toronto nor have we been able to rule them out as was the case with the Hamilton sightings.

We continue to look for Michael in shelters across the province and Canada, but have been unsuccessful in locating him. Michael is out there somewhere. Someone knows where he is. Please help us bring peace of mind to his family. You can watch the episode through CBS or Paramount Plus at this time.

December 7, 2022 – The Male Companion

The Bogeyman comes from the Middle English word bugge or bogge, which means “a frightening spectre.” The term is used to describe a monster. The Bogeyman has no defined appearance and can appear as a man or woman. Many of our missing persons cases have a perpetrator who can be defined as a Bogeyman; a faceless entity who caused and continues to cause grief and pain.

On Friday, December 21, 2007, an Owen Sound Sun Times story titled, “And then there was one”, declared “Police have zeroed in on a suspect in the disappearance of Lisa Maas – and they think it was someone the young woman knew.” For many people, the Bogeyman in the disappearance of Lisa Maas is the male companion. Lisa disappeared on July 17, 1988, after attending a party in Woodford, Ontario. The male companion drove Lisa back to his farm in Annan to collect her car.

He told police that Lisa got into her green 1976 Plymouth Fury and drove down the long driveway to the road, turning south. However, her car was found 1.5-kms to the northeast, abandoned down a dirt lane. During our almost seven-year investigation, we have found other inconsistencies in his story. While the police have never named him, we have spoken to him on several occasions. Despite having been a close friend of Lisa, he has done absolutely nothing in over three decades to find her.

In fact, quite the opposite. He has acted with distain and anger whenever we’ve called him. If you’ve listened to the Shedding Light Podcast season about Lisa, you’ve heard one of his messages to us. Statistically speaking, roughly 80% of murdered women are killed by someone they know. And the last person to see a murder victim or missing person is always a key person of interest. And since he claims that no one else was at his house when Lisa left, he has no alibi for that night. During our hundreds of hours of interviews, only two people have refused to speak with us about Lisa.

The male companion and his roommate at the time, a well known local fisherman. These two men will likely take what the know to their graves. But there were allegedly others at the male companion’s house in Annan that night who know what happened. Whether out of fear of violence or a misguided allegiance, they have kept quiet for over three decades. Having a child die is unthinkable, but not knowing their location, is truly cruel.

We need your help.

Please send us an anonymous tip if you were there that night or know someone who was, or if you’ve heard any rumors about what happened. Some tips might match what we already know, or they might be that break in the case we need to bring Lisa home. What did these two men say after Lisa went missing? Where is she? Tell the truth. It’s beyond time. Attached to our Facebook post is a relatively recent photograph of the male companion as well as a photo of him back in the 1980s. He has a long criminal history and women would do well to steer clear of him.

We’ve blurred his features for legal reasons and so we don’t get banned by Facebook if he happens to complain. As much as we would love to name him, and show a clear picture, it would have a negative impact on our ability to investigate this case.

December 6, 2022 – Search for Nicole Morin

Eight-year-old Nicole Louise Morin disappeared on July 30, 1985, after leaving her apartment in Etobicoke, a borough of Toronto, Ontario. PBMH in conjunction with BlackTracks K-9 conducted a sweep of a park in Mississauga in response to a tip involving Nicole Morin. A witness came forward several years ago, and over that time PBMH’s Brett Robinson has worked with them to determine that they had seen Nicole Morin the day she disappeared, and also identified the person she had been seen with.

PBMH swept about 40% of the park, and the cadaver dog’s indicated the smell of human remains. Subsequent searches of the identified spots did not reveal any further evidence. The area that was indicated by the dogs was low lying and clearly is one that water flows through at various parts of the year, possibly seasonally, and this could carry a scent from another area of the park. Another search is being planned to continue to try and pinpoint where the scent has possibly emanated from. At the same time, PBMH received multiple tips regarding the possible whereabouts and fate of Nicole, and we will explore these possibilities.

We thank the public for their support and encourage everyone to contact us if they have any information at all!

December 5, 2022 – Search Planned for Noreen Greenley

Noreen Greenley went missing at the age of 13 on September 14th, 1963, from Bowmanville Ontario. In the evening of September 14th, a witness saw what looked like an English style type car, dark in color possibly a 1957-1959 Ford Prefect sitting at the bus stop shortly after 11pm. Noreen was to get on the bus at this stop around 11:35pm but she never did. A similar style car was seen speeding and swerving past Noreen's house, by Noreen's sister around the same time.

Noreen's sister remained confident her whole life, that she heard Noreen scream from this car as it sped by. The working theory is that the abductor agreed to drive Noreen home, however either changed their mind as they got close, or wanted to keep Noreen calm as long as possible until the abductor was ready to change the plan.

Two tips have focused the investigation of Noreen Greenley over the last few years and if you have followed the case, you will recall. The first tip is from a man who indicated his father drove a car similar to the one identified as having Noreen in it, and he also indicated his father had buried the car. The second was from the son of a hydro worker who had indicated that his father stated that when placing poles, on the same stretch of road, the hydro crew had to cross to the other side of the road due to having evidence that a car had been buried.

Using both of these tips, Please Bring Me Home developed two locations this summer which led to searches with Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR). One of the two sites led to further searching by use of excavation equipment. No further evidence was located, however, to rule out both properties a further search will be conducted with a large metal detector. All information has been reported to the Durham Region Police, who have been very encouraging and helpful during this process.

Together, we stand a greater chance of bringing Noreen home. As we are currently focused on this location, we are still very open to any other information you may hold.

Special thanks to Ryan Bossence and Global GPR Services for assisting in this search effort!

December 3, 2022 – Development in Meagan Pilon Case

On November 23rd, members of PBMH met with Greater Sudbury Police Service to share developments PBMH has uncovered about Meagan Pilon’s disappearance. PBMH submitted multiple pieces of information and evidence for GSPS to review and act upon.

As a result of this meeting, it is recommended that if you know anything about Meagan’s disappearance, you submit your information to PBMH, Crimestoppers or GSPS as soon as possible.

We cannot stress enough – “as soon as possible”. We cannot express our gratitude enough to those who have submitted information about Meagan’s disappearance in order to reach this point in the investigation.

To all of Meagan’s family and friends, we have reached a critical point and ask that your patience and hope for answers remain steady.

Thankyou GSPS Investigators for accepting our information and ensuring it’s acted on accordingly.

“Tell the truth, or someone will tell it for you.”

November 13, 2022 – $5,000 Reward for Justin Rutter Case

Justin Rutter was last seen in Ottawa, Ontario, by his family on Thursday, October 8, 2009. He was 14-years-old. At the time, Justin was 163 cm (5″4″), 50 kg (110 lbs), with a slim build, short light brown hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a light brown/white hoodie, a plain t-shirt, blue jeans and black and white Addidas tennis shoes. He was witnessed leaving Jules Morin Park after being in a brief altercation with another youth.

Justin and a third youth were seen walking together out of the park. Contrary to original reports, this was the last time Justin was seen. Please Bring Me Home Canada left questionnaires and self addressed stamped envelopes at a few local businesses this summer. This mail in campaign generated several tips early last summer.

Since then, tips continue to trickle in, with the last only two days ago. If you have any information regarding Justin Rutter’s disappearance, please either call Crime Stoppers at

October 27, 2022 – Search for Luke Joly-Durocher

Members of PBMH, Shedding Light Podcast and BlackTracks K9 recently searched multiple locations in both North Bay and Temiskaming, including several spots along the nearby Ottawa River for evidence related to the disappearance of Luke Joly-Durocher. Luke, a 20-year old male from Témiscaming, Québec (Canada), disappeared while visiting friends in North Bay, Ontario (Canada) on Friday, March 4th, 2011.

October 4, 2022 – Search for Missing Toronto Man

On August 23, 2022, an investigator from Please Bring Me Home along with the K9 team from Blacktracks led a search in Toronto for Antonio Madeira. The 76-year-old was last seen between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. on July 12 in the area of Winona Drive and Mulberry Crescent, near Bathurst Street and St. Clair Avenue West.

The K9 team traced Mr. Madeira’s path from his home to the Beer Store which he attended daily. From that point it was determined that Mr. Madeira may have boarded a bus that took him to Eglington Station. The team moved to that location where the dog hit on a scent which led to a specific train stop that heads to Vaughn. Cameras in the stations have been written over so unfortunately we are not able to determine with certainty that Madeira attended these areas however this does provide a new search lead.

Madeira is described as five feet five inches tall, 150 pounds and with a thin build. He has a tanned complexion, hazel eyes, balding short white hair, and a full white beard.

If you have seen Mr. Madeira or have information about his whereabouts, please send us a tip via our website or call our anonymous tip line at

September 30, 2022 – Search for Lois Hanna Continues

25 year old Lois Hanna disappeared from Kincardine, ON sometime in the early morning hours of July 4th, 1988. She was last seen leaving the “Celebrate in ’88” Homecoming dance in Lucknow, ON just before midnight of July 3rd. Her co-workers and family began to worry when Lois did not show up for work the next morning.

Upon entering her home, it became apparent that Lois made it home the night before- there was a half-finished cup of tea on the counter, the television was on, her purse and keys were there, and her car was in the driveway. No trace of Lois has ever been found.

This past August 2nd Brett Robinson, PBMH’s Director of Central Canada, and Investigative Team Member Angela Richard were accompanied by Tom (Chief Executive Officer) and Dave (Canine Handler) Abraham of Blacktracks K9, and 2 Human Remains Detection Dogs, on a foot search into and around an abandoned gravel pit outside of Holyrood, ON. Reports from the night Lois disappeared indicate a scream was heard in this area.

On August 12, 2022, this same team returned to search the area adjacent to this gravel pit, alongside Lockart St. off Kairshea Ave. outside Holyrood. A tip was received that a person of interest was seen walking out of this bush area a few months after Lois disappeared. Both these areas have been searched in the past, with nothing found then or now, and can now be eliminated from the list of areas of interest.

If you would like to support future searches for Lois or any of the Missing cases that PBMH is involved with, please consider a donation through GoFundMe:

If you would like to learn more about Lois’ case, Shedding Light Podcast has a 5 part series available here: sheddinglight.buzzsprout.com

September 25, 2022 – Sponsors & Donors

Sponsors & Donors We would like to thank Dave and Jodi Hanna of Silver Lake Tent and Trailer Park for their recent $5000 donation which paid for our insurance for the 2022-2023 season.

Without this insurance we would not be able to conduct searches for the missing. The Hanna family, including brother Jim, have always been supportive of our efforts to find their missing sister, Lois, who disappeared in July of 1988. In fact, our first ever monetary donation was from the Hanna’s.

That donation helped pay our registration to become a not-for-profit organization. The Hanna’s have literally put boots on the ground, searching for not only their own sister but in 2021, assisting with our search for Lisa Maas.

Without their expertise and muscle, we would never have removed all of the garbage from a crevice near the Bognor Marsh, east of Owen Sound. We would like to thank the Palmerston Legion for their donation of $2000.

PBMH’s Executive Director along with our Director of Administration (with the assistance of Alex Underbakke), conducted a presentation to the Legion on September 16, 2022.

September 23, 2022 – Noreen Greenley

Noreen Anne Greenley, 13, disappeared from a bus stop in Bowmanville, Ontario, on September 14, 1963. She boarded the Burley bus that day to go bowling with her girlfriend and her girlfriend’s boyfriend. After bowling they walked downtown and grabbed a bite to eat at a popular restaurant. After their meal they continued walking to her girlfriends house. They spent some time there and her girlfriend suggested to Noreen that she would like some time alone with her boyfriend.

Noreen left the house to go to the bus stop that was located just steps across the road from her girlfriend’s house at approximately 11 p.m. The Burley bus was scheduled to pick up from this location at 11:35 p.m.

The bus driver stated that there was no one standing at the bus stop at the pick up time. It was later reported to police from a neighbour who lived across from the bus stop that he had witnessed an English style type of car, dark in color, possibly a 1957 to 1959 Ford Prefect, sitting at the bus stop just shortly after 11 p.m.

There was a man wearing a hat in the driver seat. This same type of car was later seen by Noreen’s sister and her friend as it weaved almost hitting them as they were waiting for Noreen to get off the bus. Noreen’s sister recalls hearing Noreen’s screams coming from that same car as it traveled north down Holt Road. Noreen’s sister quickly ran home to tell her parents and her father and older brother hopped in the car to try and track down this car.

They were unsuccessful in finding it and returned home to contact Noreen’s friend. Noreen’s friend didn’t know where she was and it was at this point that Noreen’s father called police. Please Bring Me Home has received information from the Greenley family that a tip had been received and never looked into. The tip was from the son of a now deceased hydro worker who indicated that at one point when they were placing poles along a highway in the area, they encountered a car buried, and needed to cross over to the other side of the road to continue.

Please Bring Me Home located what we believe was this portion of the road, obtained permission, and conducted a GPR scan. We uncovered one anomaly. Our research indicated that cars buried for this amount of time in the ground can degrade to the point where a GPR scan will not identify them as a car.

Given this, and the fact that the anomaly was the only one detected on either side of the road and was precisely where the next hydro pole should have been placed, compels us to seek permission for an excavation. We plan on doing this in October. Police have been notified about this development and will take over if we find any remains of a car during the excavation.

If you know anything, please send us an anonymous tip via our webpage or call our anonymous tip-line at

1-226-702-2728.

August 17, 2022 – Kyle Leblanc Located Deceased

As many of you have heard, Kyle Leblanc was located deceased on Friday in Saint John New Brunswick. Our thoughts are with Kyles family and friends as they mourn the loss of someone who meant so much. This is never the outcome we wish for, and it certainly comes with mixed feelings.

At times, more often than not you may be left with more questions than before they are found. We recommend to everyone that you give it time. Allow time to grieve. Allow time to process. Allow time to accept. Allow time to reveal answers to some of your questions and allow time to repair.

We started a GoFundMe last week to raise funds for a search in September for Kyle. In 48 hours, roughly $1600 was raised. Incredible! We will communicate with Kyles family regarding the use of those funds raised to be donated where they choose.

What we do at Please Bring Me Home is never “just as simple” as locating a missing person. Bonds are formed and relationships are made. As you mourn the loss of a dear family member and friend, the Please Bring Me Home Community is always here to support you.

August 12, 2022 – Lisa Maas Case Featured on Podcast

Please listen to Shedding Light’s podcast on the disappearance of Lisa Reimer Maas. Lisa disappeared in the early morning hours of Sunday, July 17, 1988, after leaving a house party in Woodford, Ontario. It is our belief that several people know what happened. It’s unfathomable to us how they can carry this weight for over 34-years. Some have already passed, taking their secrets to the grave. Others are not well. Time is ticking. Don’t leave this life like others have with this on your conscious. Leave an anonymous tip.

Help us bring Lisa home.

August 4, 2022 – New Developments in Tyler McMichael Case

Tyler disappeared from London, Ontario on May 24, 2019, at around 7:45 p.m. According to cell phone records obtained by PBMH, Tyler was last active on his cellphone the following day where it is believed the phone died. PBMH and the London Police Service are aware of this location. Over the past couple years, PBMH has explored this area, as well as requested surveillance footage of the area by use of weather cameras.

Nothing of evidentiary value was located by exploring that avenue. PBMH has also visited London on multiple occasions to search for Tyler under the belief that he could still be alive in the area. Some PBMH members visited the London area this past weekend which resulted in a development in the case.

London Police Service is aware of this information and hopefully a conclusion can be shared publicly in the near future. Furthermore, due to personal reasons, Tyler’s family has stepped back from managing the Facebook Page dedicated to finding their son’s whereabouts.

July 14, 2022 – Cadaver Dogs get “hit” in Search for Nicole Morin

Two cadaver dogs from Black Tracks K9 Corporation were part of the search team Thursday, along with their handlers and PBMH investigators. The dogs indicated they were detecting the scent of human remains in one isolated area in dense foliage in an Etobicoke area Park near Toronto.

Further investigation is needed to determine if the dogs were indicating on actual human remains or something giving off a similar scent such as blood on a shirt or other similar items. Morin was only eight years old on July 30, 1985, the last time she was seen alive at the highrise building where her family lived on The West Mall.

July 6, 2022 – Search for Shelley Desrochers

This week, members of PBMH, with the assistance of Blacktracks K9 group, will search two properties for evidence tied to the disappearance of Shelley Desrochers. Shelley was last seen in the area of Lorne Avenue and English Street in east London, Ontario, Canada, by a police officer on January 2nd, 2016.

She was 42 years-old at the time. Shelley’s sister Laura describes her as a lovable person who enjoyed spending time with her family. We have several other searches planned for July. If you are able to donate via our Gofundme links (see separate story), please do so. Together, we can bring home the missing.

Even if the specific Gofundme has reached its goal, you can still donate as this will enable us to fund more searches.

July 6, 2022 – Search for Nicholas Adamson

Because of generous donors, PBMH along with BlackTracks K9 were able to search for Nicholas Adamson in Thorold Ontario yesterday. It only took 48 hours to raise the necessary funds. In addition, PBMH has some funds leftover to continue searching for him. This ofcourse means that throughout the search yesterday, Nicholas was not located.

The good news is we can confidently remove this area from our list to search. We cannot express enough how much these donations mean. We are a not for profit organization, however in order to complete a search it does take funds to get the appropriate experts involved. We must give the missing people the best chance at being found by ensuring the absolute best are out there searching. There are more searches happening and more funding needed for those to take place. We can all help in our own way to bring them all home.

June 30, 2022 – 42-year-old Cold Case Solved

Dale Wyman hasn’t been seen or heard from since she boarded a Greyhound traveling from Ottawa to Thunder Bay in the summer of 1980. For years, we have publicized this case in the event someone who knows something will make the connection and come forward. Even after four decades, there was still hope. We were informed this evening by Dale’s sister, Brenda, that Dale has been located. It is unfortunately not the conclusion we were hoping for but it is a conclusion nonetheless.

Dale passed away in Ohio in March of this year. Dale’s daughter saw social media activity relating to her mother and reached out to family in Canada. Although steps will be taken to 100% confirm this story,

Dale’s family believes that this is their missing sister. A forty two year year old mystery finally has an ending. Earlier this year, PBMH members collected DNA from Dale’s sister Brenda in the hopes of finding familial matches on Ancestry DNA. This step was taken under the theory that Dale went away and started a new life and her own family. A theory that turned out to be correct.

There was no evidence located through Ancestry DNA, however, it will make the verifying process much easier for the family. If you are having mixed feelings, you are not alone. The loss of Dale intertwined with a new niece and extended family, holds an array of emotions.

Please respect Dale and her family as they travel through emotions of loss and gain. Sending our thoughts and hugs to the Wyman family.

May 23, 2022 – Search for Nick Adamson

On May 21, two groups searched for Nick Adamson around Mountain Locks Park/Merritt Trail in Thorold, Ontario. A K9 alerted strongly near the water at a bridge, however no signs of Nick were found after a thorough search of the water and surrounding areas. We will continue the search in the following days to include a further look in the water west of the bridge where the K9 alerted, Lake Gibson, Lock 7 of the Welland Canal and areas west of the Moose and Goose in Thorold. Please reach out if you are in the area and would like to assist in the search.

May 2, 2022 – Search for Lisa Maas

Recently, we searched a property of interest for Lisa Maas.

At the landowner’s request, this was a closed and private search. Based on several tips, we dug up a cement floor which had allegedly been put down in a house on the day after Lisa’s disappearance. We dug down deep into the dirt for anything tied to the 22-year-old pregnant woman who disappeared on July 17 of 1988 from Woodford, Ontario. We used ground penetrating radar technology followed by a jackhammer to remove large rocks in order to dig deeper and deeper.

We worked hard for four days and truly appreciate the selfless and backbreaking work done by our small team. We also thank the landowners for their trust and patience. However, we failed to find Lisa. This raises many questions. Did we not dig in the right spot? Did we not dig deep enough?

Did we miss her by a few inches or a few kilometers?

Were we even on the right property?

And yet we remain steadfast in our belief that several people know what happened to Lisa and her baby following the Woodford party. We believe that one day someone will come forward and speak the truth. It might be a death bed confession, a drunken outburst or perhaps a moment of reason.

And when that time comes, we will be waiting.

We will listen. We won’t judge.

You’ll remain anonymous.

And we’ll finally bring Lisa and her baby home.

April 21, 2022 – Vigil for Francis Harris

Each year, we try to feature a post on the anniversary of a missing person’s disappearance. And each year, we wonder if it will be the last time. Each year, we wonder if we will have to add another post, 365 days later. And each time we post, it feels like just yesterday that we posted the last one. A case reaching the 50 year mark, hits us differently. Half a century without knowing the truth. How is that possible? And if you ask the family of Francis Harris, it feels like just yesterday that their life changed, forever. Our Investigation Team Member, Ryan Scott, has been working closely with the family of Francis since we began looking into her disappearance.

Please click on the following link to read more.

 Apsley Back Roads

Francis’ son, Rod, his wife, and other community members will be holding a candlelight vigil to honour Francis. The event will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 22, at the North Kawartha Community Centre on McFadden Road in Apsley, ON.

If you know something, say something. One day is too long for someone to be missing, let alone 50 years.

April 15, 2022 – Active Cases to be Featured

We are thrilled to announce that we will be assisting with current cases on our webpage under the heading, “Most Recent Disappearances”. Our goal is to being attention to recent cases in the hopes that they don’t turn cold. The first featured case is the disappearance of Raheem White who went missing from Toronto, Ontario, in December of 2021.

March 16, 2022 – Search Planned for Lisa Maas

Today, March 16, 2022, Lisa Maas would have turned 56 years old. Her unborn child would be turning 34 years old later this year. But because of the actions of her so-called friends in the early morning hours of Sunday, July 17, 1988, Lisa and her unborn child died. So many unfulfilled milestones and lost memories; so much pain and uncertainty about Lisa’s whereabouts. Allowing her to die or being involved in her demise is horrible, but to rob her parents of their ability to bury their daughter, is beyond comprehension.

Over the last six years we have tirelessly searched many locations for Lisa’s remains. Properties owned by close friends of the man whom we believe is the primary suspect, the property where Lisa allegedly picked up her car after the Woodford party, along with wells and crevices, and other locations. We couldn’t have done it alone. We’ve had the help of a community: companies who’ve donated their machinery and time, volunteers who’ve helped remove garbage and dig in dirt in search of Lisa. So much generosity and kindness for someone most volunteers never met. And most importantly, help from tipsters.

Tipster like you who read our posts and wonder, should I tell someone what I know? Is now the right time? Is it safe to do so? The answer to all of these questions is yes. We offer a process which protects the tipsters but still allows us to bring Lisa home. And remember, you’re not alone. We’ve spoken to many people who are afraid to talk, afraid to reveal their true identity. And it’s understandable as a woman and her unborn child are dead. And still missing. But rest assured, we’ve heard just about every rumour and theory out there: wells, pigs, dumps, crevices and caves, cement, and on and on. This spring, we have yet another search planned.

Like all of our other searches, there is the potential for success and disappointment. Unlike last year, this location will be a closed search. We can’t give away too many details to protect those who’ve already come forward with significant tips, but if you have any information about Lisa’s whereabouts, speak up now.

You are not alone.

Together, we will bring Lisa home.

February 10, 2022 – Search for Missing London Woman Continues

Shelley Desrocher was last seen in the area of Lorne Avenue and English Street in the east end of London by a police officer on January 2nd, 2016. Shelley was 42 years-old at the time. Shelley’s sister, Laura, describes her as a lovable person who enjoyed spending time with her family. Shelley had fallen into a troubled time in her life and was struggling with substance abuse and PTSD. There are many theories about Shelley’s disappearance including that she ran away to start a new life, accidental death, and that she met with foul play due to her “high risk lifestyle”, but these are still just theories.

Police recovered Shelley’s purse in a home known for high drug related activity; her health card was found in the parking lot of a walk-in clinic on Hamilton Road, three years after she disappeared. The last time Laura spoke to Shelley on December 31, 2015, nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary. Shelley had plans to go to her boyfriend’s house. Despite a lot of media attention, posters in the area, and a podcast called, Finding Shelley, there has been no sign of Shelley to date.

PBMH completed a GPR search at three locations in the fall of 2021, within the London area. No evidence of Shelley was discovered. PBMH is planning to search an undisclosed location in the summer of 2022.

January 6, 2022 – Power of Social Media

The power of social media truly is amazing!

A group on Facebook run by incredible people has been investigating the case of Dale Wyman who disappeared from Ottawa in October of 1980. Posts that they made came across our news feed on social media.

Last week, another story came across our news feed about a female that was located deceased in Saskatchewan a few months ago. The Loon Lake RCMP have been unable to locate the family of this female so they turned to social media in the hopes that someone would recall the name Brittany Blackwell. Had Dale not been on our minds, we might not have made the link between these remains and the missing woman from Ottawa. Before anyone gets too excited, this is a long shot which has yet to be confirmed. Brittany passed away at 64 years of age in Saskatchewan, which is roughly the same age Dale would be today (63).

One of the last clues we have for Dale’s whereabouts land us in Saskatchewan. Dale left her home and very well could have wanted to start a new life. With similar hair color, height and weight between the two women, it was enough to get our wheels turning. We contacted the Loon Lake RCMP to share our theory. We spoke with the Facebook for Dale, and one of their leaders, Linda Gillis Davidson, reached out to the RCMP to further communicate this point.

Even if Brittany Blackwell is not Dale Wyman, we wanted to use this platform to share Brittany’s name and story in the hopes a next of kin can be found. A family member of Dale’s family is completing an Ancestry DNA kit provided by PBMH to explore the possibility that Dale started a new life and her DNA is available on this platform.

Our Director of Research and Analysis, Melissa Harwood, will be helping explore this once the results are available.

The moral of the story is to use social media to spread awareness of these cases and work together to bring someone home. If you know anything about Dale Wyman’s case, please reach out to the Ottawa Police.

As always, you can send us an anonymous tip.

December 17, 2021 – New Tips Provide Hope

December 22 marks 10 years since Cheryl Rowe went missing in 2011 from Richmond Hill, Ontario. Cheryl was very close with her family and had a plan to meet up with her daughter the night before she disappeared. She never showed up for that meeting. After Christmas shopping together on Dec. 21, Cheryl told her daughter Kristina — who was sleeping at a friend’s house that night — that she’d meet her in a nearby park at around 11 p.m. with a bag of fresh clothes for the following day. Kristina says she spoke to Cheryl, who was running late, but told her that she’d be leaving a Browndale Crescent address when her ride arrived. Family members report Cheryl leaving with a bag in hand at around midnight, after a car picked her up. Before meeting Kristina, Cheryl planned to drop by the home of an ex-boyfriend at 34 Rathfon Cres. She arrived at the home, but Cheryl, 46, never turned up to meet Kristina.

On Christmas morning, when Cheryl once again didn’t show — the gifts she bought, wrapped and stored at the family’s Browndale home — Kristina called York police and filed a missing persons report. Police and Cheryl’s family believe that she met with foul play and that there is a small group of people who know where Cheryl’s body is located. A couple of people who were rumored to be involved with Cheryl’s disappearance have passed away in the last seven months. We’re hoping that if this is shared widely, others who are aware of what happened that night may feel more comfortable coming forward to tell us where we can find Cheryl. Her family is desperate to bring her home and give her a final resting place and get some closure.

Please Bring Me Home has received an anonymous tip about where Cheryl’s body is rumored to be buried. After several attempts, we have not had any success getting permission from the property owners to search. We have provided that information to the Cold Case detective who is working on Cheryl’s case, in hopes that he can follow up. If you have any information about what happened to Cheryl, please send us an anonymous tip via our website or

anonymous tip line at 1-226-702-2728 or contact York Region Police.

December 6, 2021 – Remains of Ashley Simpson Found

Our hearts go out to the family of Ashley Simpson. Ashley’s boyfriend has been charged in connection with her disappearance. Derek Lee Matthew Favell is facing a charge of second-degree murder. Ashley Simpson was last seen on April 27, 2016. Ashley, her boyfriend, and a friend visited Margaret Falls, hiking through dense forest to the waterfall north of Salmon Arm across from Shuswap Lake. The couple fought for the entire trip.

The friend dropped them off at their trailer, where they continued to argue. Ashley was living with her boyfriend at a property on Yankee Flats Road, near Enderby, when she vanished. She had been asking her boyfriend for money to go home for a baby shower in Niagara on the Lake. Ashley was last seen walking on a street in Silver Creek near Salmon Arm with her pink suitcase, and was reported missing several days later.

December 2, 2021 – Francis Harris Case Featured

The case of Francis Harris was featured in the July, August and September editions of Apsley Backroads Magazine, a local news magazine serving Apsley and the Kawartha’s. On the morning of April 21st, 1972, Francis and her husband Stanley went to an appointment in Peterborough, Ontario. They stopped by the post office and bank in Lakefield before returning home by 11 a.m. Stanley left for work by 1:00 p.m. Francis’s 13-year-old son Rod returned home from school around 3:40 p.m. to find the house empty. His mother had disappeared. Francis was a wife and mother of three at the time of her disappearance. She did not take any personal belongings with her and hasn’t been seen or heard from since. Excavation of the foundation of the old family house was completed in November 2012 by a specialized search unit from Bolton with no findings.

October 30, 2021 – Envelopes Used in Search for Missing Teenager

Justin Rutter was last seen October 8, 2009, at the Jules-Moran Park in Ottawa, Ontario. He said goodbye to his mom that afternoon, gave her a kiss on the cheek and said, “I promise I won’t be back late.” Justin was seen at the park as early as 3 p.m. It is believed that he had an altercation with a male at the park that afternoon/evening, and that could be why he is missing. Witnesses have come forward stating Justin was seen running across the bridge to get away from the male in question between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. PBMH is leaving 100 ore-stamped, pre-addressed envelopes at The Koven Bar in Ottawa. Inside the envelope are a couple questions that anyone can fill out, put back in the envelope, seal and place in a mailbox. The letters will be mailed to PBMH’s PO Box in Owen Sound to be reviewed. Take this opportunity to share what you know.

October 28, 2021 – Flyers Posted in Search for Missing Man

David MacDermott was last seen on November 9, 2002, at Club Renaissance in Kitchener, Ontario. He was to be picked up the next day, but when his cousin arrived, David, his car and dog, were missing. His dog was found running around the neighborhood a few days later, and his car was found a few weeks after that. On October 17, members from Please Bring Me Home posted newly made flyers around Kitchener and Waterloo. You will see them taped to poles and when you do, take a picture. Share it everywhere. That’s what David needs. His face and his story need to be everywhere. It is our suspicion that David did not choose to go missing, and that some people hold the piece to the puzzle that can bring him home.

October 12, 2021 – Reward Offered in Disappearance of Michael Samdass

The family of missing Stoney Creek, Ontario, man, Michael Samdass, is offering a $25,000 reward for information that leads to his whereabouts. Michael, who is 42 years old now, was last seen on September 5, 2019, in downtown Toronto. He has reportedly been seen in the Moss Park area in recent weeks. A potential recent sighting also occurred at the St. Felix Centre on Fraser Avenue in Toronto where he was described as having much longer hair than what is pictured here. The family believes that there is someone in Toronto residing in the Moss Park area who strongly resembles Michael, so we aren’t positive if the sightings are of Michael or not. September 18, 2021 – Search for Meagan Pilon

Today, members of Please Bring Me Home, family members of Meagan Pilon, and other volunteers assisted in searching an area in Sudbury. Information was shared with Sudbury Police regarding this location prior to the search being conducted. This search was the result of a tip that came in to PBMH last week. As nothing of value was located, we are grateful that this search was planned and implemented within days of the tip being received. Bones were located during the search effort, all of which were deemed as animal by PBMH’s Forensic Anthropologist. A search completed with no evidence collected is in itself, a clue. It helps to narrow down the location that Meagan is by process of elimination. With this site completed, we welcome the next search site. Continue to talk. Continue to send tips. Continue to fight to bring her home.

September 3, 2021 – Did You See Justin Rutter?

On October 8th, 2009, Justin Rutter left his house on Murray Street and spent time at Jules Morin Park in Ottawa, Ontario. He was last seen running towards a nearby bridge, away from someone pursuing him. The red line indicates the known path he was witnessed running. It is possible that the individual chasing Justin after a brief altercation, is not involved at all in his disappearance. What we can say is that PBMH’s Investigation Team Member has made multiple attempts to locate this male but there is no fixed address, no known social media accounts and from what we can tell, no jail time. Additional information suggests that Justin was experimenting with drugs approximately 15 minutes prior to the altercation with the male. The two witnesses who saw Justin running from the male, knew Justin well and were able to corroborate this. This does nothing of relevance other than offer you a glimpse into the possible paranoid state of mind Justin was in. Time and time again, we see that someone certainly knows something that can bring people home. Now is the time. Where is 14-year-old Justin? How much longer does he need to be hidden? Can you now unburden yourself and be the one to bring him home? Do not let another winter pass with him gone. Do not go through another Christmas with this cold dark knowledge on your mind. Do the right thing; the only thing; the brave thing. Call Ottawa Police and tell them. Call Crime Stoppers and tell them. Call us at 226-702-2728 and leave an anonymous voicemail. September 2, 2021 – Search for Lisa Maas Solves Mystery in Timeline

The search for Lisa Maas this past week has resulted in a significant mystery about her last day, being solved. Police have long speculated about Lisa’s believed trip to the Orangeville area that last full day of her life. After a phone call, Lisa told her parents she was driving a woman with a baby to Orangeville. She left their Chatsworth area home at around 11 a.m., supposedly headed to the Orangeville area. Her parents never saw their daughter again.

The next time Lisa was seen was around 5:30 p.m. that same afternoon. Lisa’s whereabouts during that Saturday, July 16, from 11 a.m. until later that afternoon, have long been a mystery. That is, until a woman named Joan, who was friends with Lisa, joined the search of the crevice. Joan, along with her then husband and their baby, spent the day with Lisa at Sauble Beach and Oliphant. They never went to Orangeville.

That Lisa spent her last summer’s day in such a joyful place, swimming in the water and soaking up the sun, is a pleasant thought. The police have never spoken to Joan about her missing friend. We’ve told Lisa’s dad, Ken, about solving this small mystery about his daughter’s whereabouts that last day, and he was very happy to find out. People are talking. We now know who was involved in Lisa’s disappearance.

We know who was present when she died. We know you panicked and made a bad choice. An unforgivable choice. But today is the time to seek redemption. Tell us anonymously where to dig and we’ll bring her home.

August 31, 2021 – Search for Lisa Maas in Crevice

With heavy hearts and tired backs, we left the crevice for the final time this afternoon without finding the remains of Lisa Maas. Some tears were shed along the way, friendships rekindled and new ones formed. None of us will ever forget this experience – the longest ever public search for Lisa and her unborn baby. So many people made this search possible. From Dave and Jim Hanna, whose own sister disappeared two weeks before Lisa, and who helped engineer a way to remove the garbage quickly and safely, to Walker Aggregates who donated machinery and labor, to the dozens and dozens of searchers who laboured in the heat and humidity. In her youth, Lisa used to love to walk the Bruce Trail through the Niagara Escarpment.

If nothing else comes of this search than we returned an area of the escarpment back to its natural topography, an area Lisa would have loved to explore, then so be it. The search is not over. We now have a larger army of volunteers to help us on our quest to bring Lisa and her unborn baby home. A cadaver dog will be brought to the site at a later date to ensure we didn’t miss anything. Thanks also to Grey Sauble Conservation for allowing us to clean up the crevice, returning it to its natural state.

August 26, 2021 – OPP Name Suspect in Disappearance of Kelley Coleman

Today, the OPP named Kelley Coleman’s boyfriend, Steve George, as a suspect in missing woman’s disappearance. Kelly vanished on August 3, 2011. At the time, she was living in an apartment in Nottawa, near Collingwood, with her boyfriend, Steve George. Kelly was known to keep in close contact with a small group of friends and people in the medical community but this came to an abrupt stop. She signed into her Facebook account on August 2nd for the last time. There was a text sent from her phone to her son months after she disappeared but police don’t think it was sent by Coleman. If you know anything, please call your local police detachment or Crime Stoppers. PBMH continues to investigate and welcome anonymous tips via our website or tip-line at 1-226-702-2728.

August 22, 2021 – T-Shirts Available to Help Raise Funds for Search

Lisa’s nickname was “mouse” due to her diminutive size, thus the mouse image. To order, please PM Cindy Hamel here: https://www.facebook.com/CinderBONKerella.

August 11, 2021 – PBMH Investigating Case of Missing Quebec Woman

PBMH is now investigating a second case in Quebec. The disappearance of Marilyn Bergeron. On the morning of February 17, 2008, Marilyn Bergeron left her family’s home in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada, for what she said was a walk. She did not return. An automated teller machine security camera in Lorettevile recorded her attempting to withdraw money early in the afternoon; she was last seen almost five hours after leaving home at a coffee shop in Saint-Romuald. Quebec City Police, who continue to investigate, have theorized that Bergeron committed suicide. Her family, who has put up a reward for information leading to the resolution of the case, believes she may have instead met with foul play. Shortly before her disappearance she had moved back to Quebec City from Montreal. She had told her parents, without being specific, that something had happened there and she no longer felt safe living on her own. If you know anything,

please send us an anonymous tip via our website or call us tip hotline at 1-226-702-2728.

Alternatively, call Crime-Stoppers.

August 3, 2021 – Thank You to Our Sponsors

Summer and fall in Canada are when we at PBMH complete the majority of our ground searches after months of research and planning. However, none of this would be possible without donations of machinery and equipment, along with much needed financial donations. Without this technology and experience, including human detection canines, ground penetrating radar, underwater drones, backhoes and other heavy equipment, we simply wouldn’t be able to search. We also want to thank the individuals, many of whom are followers of this page, who have donated money, time and manpower. And of course, all of the people who read and share our posts.

Missing people disappear twice: once when they are taken and a second time when they vanish from public view. We cannot let that happen. Keep sharing and talking about these stories so that one person who knows the truth might finally come forward. August 2, 2021 – Search for Kelvin Norris Continues

Two weeks ago, we visited Bath, Ontario. Also on site were members of the OPP and ground penetrating radar (GPR) specialists to conduct a search of the property. This property is related to the disappearance of Kelvin Norris. During our first search, severe weather rolled in at the worst possible time and we had to leave the area. A complete search of the property by Steve Watson at GlobalGPR was completed two days ago. The OPP were again present, along with property the owner. The details of the scan will be reviewed by PBMH and the OPP.

August 1, 2021 – Search for Evidence Related to The Forest City Killer Continues

On July 31, members with Please Bring Me Home travelled back to Avon to continue searching for evidence related to the book “The Forest City Killer” by Vanessa Brown. We were joined by Cavers Greg and Nina whose job was to safely rappel down a well to excavate dirt and debris. Also offering assistance were Forensic Anthropologists, Lelia and Shelby from the University of Toronto. The task at hand involved cautiously going through the dirt and debris being brought up from a well. No evidence related to the murders was found.

July 29, 2021 – PBMH Investigating Case of Missing Boy

It was on May 7, 1975, that four-year-old Cameron March disappeared from the family’s house in the Blind Line Road area in north Burlington. According to the RCMP’s website, the blond-haired and blue-eyed boy was last seen by his mother at around 3:15 p.m. He was reportedly playing on a swing set in a neighbor’s yard not far from home. Cameron went into the neighbor’s residence to play with a friend but was told that the friend was sleeping. He then left the residence and walked towards his house. At the time of his disappearance, Cameron was wearing a white shirt with a green band around the neck and monkeys climbing on the front, rust brown corduroy pants, navy blue socks, and brown desert boots. Extensive investigation and searches for the boy went on for “many, many days” and helped by “thousands of people.”

The Milton Champion reported on its May 14 edition in 1975 how the aerial and land search efforts “covered the wooded swampy areas bounded by Blind Line, Colling Road, Guelph Line and Britannia Road.” It was later extended to the Lowville area and the Nelson Sand and Gravel pits, where “ponds in the area were dragged and explored by divers.” But their efforts were “to no avail” and to this day, Cameron’s whereabouts are still unknown. PBMH is now investigating this case.

July 29, 2021 – Human Remains Found

Human remains have been found during a search for Arlene McLean. Arlene disappeared almost 22 years ago and is featured on our website. Arlene walked out of her home in Eastern Passage to go for a drive on September 8th, 1999 at around 8:30 p.m. and never returned. She left only with the clothes that she was wearing and her purse with the family car which is described as a 1993 peacock green four- door Hyundai Elantra Plate CMG-691 (picture of similar vehicle below) none of which has been recovered. The circumstances of her disappearance was deemed suspicious. Our condolences to her family and friends.

July 27, 2021 – Believed Remains of Jordan Naterer Found

Members of our Western Canada Team, along with canine search and rescue volunteers, including the Canadian Canine Search Corps, searched earlier this year for Jordan Naterer, who disappeared on October 12 of 2020 while on a solo hike in Manning Provincial Park, about 175 kilometers east of Vancouver. Remains believed to be those of Jordan were discovered on July 4 of this year after a volunteer searcher found items related to Jordan. Our sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

July 20, 2021 – Search for Kelvin Norris

On July 20, Please Bring Me Home met with members of Ontario Provincial Police – East Region (Napanee OPP), Global GPR Services and Kelvin Norris’ sister Cathy Norris. Kelvin Norris went missing in late October of 1984 from Bath Ontario. In December of 2020, Lisa Maxwell and Glenda Bedard (Investigation Team Members for PBMH) made contact with the property owner of a property of interest. The property owner happily offered up their property to allow a search to take place. After months of planning, it was decided to begin with using GPR to retrieve data from the site today. Cathy Norris made contact with the property owners in 2005 hoping to search.

It’s important to note that the owner allowed Cathy to look and even dig in a few spots. Afterwards, both parties agreed that they focus on a less intrusive method in order to move forward. Not only were we at PBMH thrilled that we could finally search here, but it is the first time that OPP Detectives were on site to see how PBMH searches operate. This was a very positive step to strengthen the relationship between PBMH and Law Enforcement. As history shows, with PBMH, family members and Law Enforcement working closely together, their is a high percentage that cases can be resolved. We saw this in 2018 when Nolan Panchyshyns remains were located via a tip from our website that was given to Police. We saw this again in 2018 when PBMH ran a search for Terry Schope in Owen Sound.

Police were aware of our search and were immediately called to the scene when we located his body. We saw this in 2020 when Catherine Jones was located. By PBMH communicating with the Toronto Police Service, the detective went through hospital records and found that she passed away in hospital in 2008 after she gave her maiden name “Gow” instead of “Jones”. Lastly, and most recently we saw this with Mehmet Keske. Due to communication and geography, it was difficult for Keskes family to report him missing to authorities. By PBMH communicating with the Toronto Police Service, Police were able to verify that Mehmet was alive, healthy and was not even aware he was missing.

Today, members of the OPP, PBMH, and Global GPR worked together to support a family member needing answers. Due to inclement weather, we did not complete the desired search area today but plan to return as soon as possible.

July 17, 2021 – Internship Program

On July 13, Please Bring Me Home met with five successful applicants for an internship with PBMH. The applicants come from Bishop University and from various backgrounds. A special thanks to Linds Myers and C.E. Purkis from PBMH who completed the interview process and will be following this program through. Additionally we want to thank Bishop’s University, and all the applicants for jumping in with both feet. The interns will be responsible for fundraising, outreach and assisting with setting up a search and information gathering system for Marilyn Bergeron, who went missing in February 2008 from Quebec. The interns will also have multiple opportunities to be a part of investigation meetings with various PBMH members. We are all so excited for this opportunity and thrilled to have their assistance as we continue to find different ways to support families of the missing.

July 16, 2021 – Man Missing for 14-years Located

Success is a difficult thing to measure when searching for missing people. Sadly, the majority won’t be found. That’s the reality with cold cases, as the years go by without any sign. What we can provide is hope, hope that a group of dedicated volunteers are still searching, still asking questions, still keeping the case in the public eye. Being that squeaky wheel in the hope that someone comes forward with information. And very rarely, we have success. Mehmet Keske had not been seen by his brother since 2007. At the time, he was living on Connolly Street in Toronto. Since his brother lives overseas, he had not been successful in having the police investigate Mehmet’s disappearance.

Last year, his brother reached out to PBMH to assist with the search. Thanks to the hard work of Investigation Team Member, Brett Robinson, along with the assistance of the Toronto Police Service, Mehmet was located in good health. Below is Brett’s final report: Mehmet Keske is a Turkish born immigrant to Canada who arrived in 2003. After his brother visited him in 2007 there was no further communication between he and his family. The family repeatedly tried to contact him over the intervening 14 years.

In 2020 the family reached out to Please Bring Me Home for assistance. I joined Please Bring me home in April of 2021, with Mehmet Keske’s being one of the first three I was given. I reached out to the family immediately with a number of questions, and visited the last known address of Mehmet. Ownership of the house had changed over the past five years, and the lodging house had been renovated and no longer included the room Mehmet had lived in. The neighbours who had lived in the area for the past 14 years or more had no recollection of Mehmet. I tried Mehmet’s old cell number, which had been disconnected. I reached out to the former owner of the house through the real estate agent who performed the transaction, with no response. At this point I considered three potential scenarios.

The first was that Mehmet had a falling out with his family and didn’t want to maintain a relationship with them. The second was that something had happened to him over the past 14 years. The third was that he had left Canada. Searches of obituaries did not turn up any information, nor did searches of social media. It took several months to regain contact with Mehmet’s family; they live in Turkey and were not responding to emails and calls. I received a response from Mehmet’s brother, Mustafa, in June, and he answered a number of questions for me. One key piece of information that he gave was that Mehmet had worked in construction and typically worked in companies that did road repair.

After locating several Mehmet’s in construction and satisfying myself that he may be still living and working in Canada, I called a contact at the police who ran several searches, indicating that a Mehmet Keske with the correct birthday had maintained a drivers license. I sent the officer pictures of Mehmet that he could compare to the drivers license photo to confirm it was indeed him, and not violate any confidentiality.

The officer confirmed we were speaking about the same person. A member of the Toronto Police Service was kind enough to stop by Mehmet’s home, let him know that his family was searching for him, and leave appropriate contact information to reach them, which I had provided. I relayed that information to his brother Mustafa, who indicated he had shared that news with the rest of the family.

July 15, 2021 – Volunteers Needed for Search

Beginning Saturday, August 28 and continuing until Thursday, September 2, we will be returning to an area of interest to search for Lisa Maas. This time, we need volunteers; strong and able people to sort through and move loads of garbage from an old crevice dumping site. Our goal is to reach the original floor of the crevice by removing an estimated six to eight feet of garbage, mostly metal, tires, bottles, etc. We also need a machine (tractor/mini ex) with a bucket to move the garbage from the search area to a dumpster.

Searchers who enter the crevice will need to bring and wear steel toed shoes/boots, gloves and hard hats. While we ask that all volunteers also bring their own water, food, bug spray, etc., we will take donations to assist in the search. If you are able to assist on one or all of the days, or wish to donate towards this search, please send us a private message. In PM please indicate the dates you can help along with first and last names of all volunteers.

The search area is within a fifteen minute drive of Owen Sound. Covid restrictions will also apply although at this time this doesn’t appear to be a major concern. We do request that people wear masks in the crevice and if six feet separation cannot be maintained. This is a part of our legal agreement with the land owner.

Our goal is to completely rule out this area or bring Lisa home.

February 7, 2021 – Teaming Up with Shedding Light Podcast

We’ve been investigating the disappearance of Neil McDougall since 2018. We have searched large tracts of land and even utilized ground penetrating radar in our search for the Durham, Ontario, resident. He was last seen leaving a residence in Ayton, south of Owen Sound, at around 2 a.m. on October 12, 1985. It is believed that several people know key details about Neil’s last moments. We are glad to have teamed up with Shedding Light podcast to delve deeper into this mystery, along with other missing persons cases from Grey and Bruce counties in Ontario, Canada.

Someone definitely knows something.

December 27, 2020 – Our Reach Continues to Grow

We recently surpassed 7,000 followers. Over the last month our posts have reached almost 300,000 people. We are very humbled by the number of people around the world who choose to follow this page and our accompanying Facebook and Instagram accounts. The simple fact is that the more people who share and view our posts, the more likely a message will be seen by someone who knows something. In almost every missing persons case, someone holds a key piece of information, sometimes without even knowing it. The hope is that as time goes by, those with information will feel confident enough about this process that they will send us an anonymous tip via our website. Or, they will call their local police detachment or Crime Stoppers. It really doesn’t matter how the information is brought forward, as long as it lands in the hands of those able to bring the missing home. Case in point: This past week we received a potentially significant tip about one of our cases which we forwarded to the detectives who hold the case. We will continue to create awareness about and search for those who are missing. They all need to be brought home.

December 21, 2020 – Donation from London North Rotary Club

Earlier this year, Matt and Nick from PBMH spoke to members of the London North Rotary Club about the organizations efforts to find missing people across this country. We want to thank the club for their recent donation. This money will be used to fund searches in the new year.

October 21, 2020 – DNA Technology Being Used to Solve Missing Persons Cases

DNA technology has been in the news a lot recently for helping solve several high profile cold cases. In April of 2018, the Golden State Killer, Joseph James DeAngelo, who murdered and raped dozens of women in California during the 1970s and 80s, was arrested thanks to advances in DNA technology. And just last week, Toronto police announced they’d identified the killer of nine-year-old Christine Jessop using DNA and genetic genealogy. Although Calvin Hoover took his own life in 2015, the news brought closure to Christine’s family more than three decades after her disappearance and murder. The potential for other cold cases, including missing persons cases, to be solved using this technology is very real. Earlier this year, Nick Oldrieve and Melanie Lambert visited Toronto to investigate the disappearance of Wendy Smith who vanished without a trace in April of 1995 from Richmond Hill, Ontario.

An exotic dancer, Wendy failed to return home after working at a club on Yonge Street on the night of April 13. After interviewing Wendy’s daughter and the man who was dating Wendy at the time of her disappearance, they contacted the York Regional Police to inquire about collecting DNA from Wendy’s daughter to be analyzed against the hundreds of unidentified human remains across Canada.

Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, this line of inquiry was brought to a sudden halt. However, once restrictions began to lift, PBMH again contacted York Regional Police to request we continue with DNA testing. Even through all of the complications caused by Covid-19, detectives and forensic staff recently met with Wendy’s daughter and successfully collected a sample of her DNA to be analyzed against unidentified human remains.

We wish to thank the York Regional Police for their continued assistance and willingness to search for Wendy Smith. Unidentified human remains continue to be found each year across Canada. These people with no name have a story to tell and are missed every day by their family and friends. Advances in DNA and genetic genealogy will no doubt reunite some of these remains with their family members in the future. The search continues.

October 7, 2020 – Marianne Schuett Update

We wanted to take a moment and provide an update about the case of Marianne Schuett who went missing from Kilbride Ontario in 1967. Over the past year, Please Bring Me Home has expanded more than I could have ever imagined, and by doing that we were able to assist more families. We also met many likeminded people across Canada who joined our efforts in the hopes of bringing families closure. We immediately had someone looking into the case of Marianne for Please Bring Me Home and the family. That person has since chose to resign from PBMH, however is still assisting the Schuett family which we are all grateful for. We have since decided to put another Investigation Team Member and Research Consultant on Marianne’s case from Please Bring Me Home. We have not seen anything posted regarding Marianne, therefore we feel we owe Marianne the attention she deserves. We have full trust in the PBMH members we have chosen to look into this.

If you have any information on this case, please email tips@pleasebringmehome.com or send a tip in via our website.

October 6, 2020 – Meagan Pilon’s Birthday

Today is Meagan Pilon’s 23rd birthday. Meagan disappeared seven years ago from Sudbury, Ontario. Someone knows something about her disappearance. October 5, 2020 – Searching Cave for Lisa Maas

One constant rumor suggests that Lisa Maas was placed in a tunnel or shaft of the Niagara Escarpment. Thanks to Greg Warchol and Nina Pietroiusti from the Toronto Caving Group, we were able to search one such cave system near the Irish Block Road recently. While the shafts in this small cave system were ruled out, entrances to other tunnels and caves may be hidden in the area, buried for many decades. We will continue to search.

September 20, 2020 – Lisa’s Purse

We continue to search a location of interest for the remains of Lisa Maas. Lisa owned a purse which, according to her friends, she didn’t often carry with her. It was the only item missing from her car when it was found down a dirt path near Keefer Falls two days after her disappearance. We need to know what it looked like, either via a description (color/design/size) or a photograph.

You can send us a private message via our Facebook page, email, or submit an anonymous tip. Thank you.

September 3, 2020 – Rescue Mediums/Very Paranormal

We are thankful to Jackie Dennison from Rescue Mediums and Very Paranormal for posting about our organization’s mission on her website. August 22, 2020 – Lisa Maas Search Update

Last week, volunteers with PBMH searched a crevice near the Irish Block Road for evidence related to the disappearance of Lisa Maas who vanished in the early morning hours of July 17, 1988. Lisa was seen at a bar in Owen Sound on the evening of Saturday, July 17, and early the next morning, drove to a party in Woodford. She was looking forward to the birth of her child in four months and had left her boyfriend the previous day.

She drove back to Annan from Woodford with a close friend and was never seen again. The OPP have stated that they believe someone close to Lisa is responsible for her disappearance, although they stop short of naming him. While his identify has been shrouded in mystery, some locals still know his name, along with the names of his closest friends who were allegedly present that night.

The OPP have staged several large scale searches for Lisa over the last three decades including excavating dumps and searching several crevices. We first heard whispers about a “dumping ground” several years ago but it was only last November that we located this long and narrow crevice. We focused our efforts on a relatively small area, roughly five by eight feet in size. By the end of the week, we had reached almost six feet below the level of garbage in November of last year. Despite over half filling a 40-yard dumpster with car parts, rolls of barbed wire, rusting cans, bottles, oil filters, and on and on, we failed to reach the crevice’s natural bottom.

We likely removed less than 10% of the garbage from the crevice. It was back-breaking work to remove the items from the crevice and we could have not done it without the many volunteers from PBMH and local company’s who donated food, supplies, manpower and machinery. We wish to thank Wilton Sanitation Inc., Miller Waste Systems of Owen Sound, Roy Mar Demolition, Zehrs, and The Comfort Inn. We were very fortunate to have our Forensic Consultant, Lelia Watamaniuk, on site for the entire week. Lelia, who has a Master’s Degree in Forensic Anthropology, and is a sessional instructor at the university, brought along several graduate students who assisted in excavating a small portion of the crevice.

These included Alex Saly, Jenna MacRae, Jenna Schall and Grace. Their detailed work resulted in locating over a hundred bones, all of which were analyzed and found to be animal. Their attention to detail ensured that we ruled out this section, however, much work remains to search the rest of the crevice. Items of interest were located during the search which do not appear to match the age of the vast majority of garbage which was dumped in the 1950s, 60s and 70s. These items have helped identify a new search area within the crevice. While it has been over 32-years since Lisa’s disappearance, our team, and many locals, have not given up hope that she will be found. Tips are still coming in and we implore those with information, no matter how small or trivial, to send us an anonymous tip, which may help further narrow down our search area. The search will continue.

August 12, 2020 – Leo List Blog and Donation

Women from vulnerable sectors of society are often more at risk of being exploited and assaulted. Some are murdered. Others simply disappear. The National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls has highlighted the need for increased awareness, education and policing around this growing problem. Shelley Desrochers is a London, Ontario based escort who disappeared in January of 2016. Meagan Pilon of Sudbury, Ontario, was also allegedly involved in high risk activity. She vanished in September of 2013. A few months ago, we reached out to Leo List to ask if they would publicize these two cases on their website. Leo List is a Canadian company which offers free classified ads across Canada. One of their website’s sections allows people to offer services for licensed and legal escorts.

While we at PBMH do not approve of services that exploit women, we do recognize the likelihood that those who know information about these disappearances, use these services. Being able to spread awareness about these missing women to those who knew them or those involved in their disappearances, is key to solving these mysteries. Not only has Leo List posted a blog to their website about these two missing women, they’ve donated $5,000 towards our efforts to find missing people. We are extremely thankful to Leo List for both the blog post and donation.

July 2, 2020 – Letter from our Director of Investigations, Linda Gillis Davidson

Hello Everyone, Here is what we know so far regarding Meagan Pilon. In September of 2013, Meagan either left home in a hurry or was taken from her house. A table was overturned, the house appeared to have been tossed and she left without any of her identification or house keys. Her bedroom remained intact and neat and nothing was removed that could be accounted for. At the same time, Meagan’s father, Marc Pilon, was in the hospital recovering from back surgery. He claims to have seen her on September 11 of 2013; she was acting strange and left. He was heavily sedated, in tremendous pain and unable to do anything to help.

The police were called but due to his hospitalization, contact between them did not take place until several days after the call was placed. I’ve been able to determine that Meagan was in the company of a local business man driving around in one of his vehicles, a pickup truck. Meagan was co-opted into a life of prostitution and drugs. I have been able to identify a few ‘Johns’ who were with her before her disappearance. I ask that you contact the Sudbury Police and tell them your story. Many more will be identified as time moves on through the investigation. There was also a woman involved in the ‘handling’ of Meagan in this world of drugs and prostitution. This particular woman made quite a bit of money by trafficking Meagan.

She also closed down all her social media accounts and moved the week Meagan disappeared after claiming to be her good friend. It’s important to note this woman lived very close to Meagan’s home and was years older. She has since relocated again, two hours or so out of Sudbury with her family but we have located her. After many months of investigation, Meagan’s file was moved from a missing persons case to a homicide investigation by the police. I am not privy to why this decision was made or to the information, nor should I be. I endeavor to pass on any information I uncover to the police.

During this investigation, we started to come across other information related to several other missing cases, overdose cases, contract killings, people who were selling drugs, where they were selling drugs, who was trafficking young girls and where they were doing this activity. I’ve learned information regarding who are hiding persons in and around the city of Sudbury. It’s crazy what you hear and see when people don’t think they are being watched. My team is very, very well informed and I have learned that the good people of Sudbury want these “Toronto jerks” to head back to the city. I was anonymously given a copy of an alleged agreement concerning an alleged witness and the provincial attorney in which this young white male “liar” made a deal for a lighter sentence by providing the names of those involved in the alleged overdose death of Meagan at Rumball Terrace.

Meagan allegedly overdosed and a white male and five black males panicked, rolled her body in a shower curtain and put her in the back of a pickup truck. She was taken to Espanola and they either laid her on the riverbank or put her out on the ice. The police searched this area, underwater and on dry land, with no results yielded. The individual who provided the information left town and relocated to B.C., although he returned just over a year later. We were then told that a local businessman committed the murder because he had impregnated Meagan and didn’t want anyone to know. We were also told that Meagan used to date a guy that was her drug supplier before she disappeared. She went to see him to get some stuff but she owed too much already.

The who told the overdose story was present at the time. Allegedly, three black males and two white males took Meagan up to the Copper Cliff area, raped and beat her and dismembered her body, scattering her remains around a small wooded area. Then this same individual involved in the drug overdose story, called me and told me a black male by the name of “Cong” took Meagan out to Burwash Prison, raped and murdered her and buried her just off the old Hwy 69 exit which went into the prison. Apparently, this is not his first murder “for the cause” and he likes to bury them out near the prison. There are two or three other scenarios that I will not give out at this time. So anyone willing to search please send us a PM on this page. We will be searching in August or September. We will be passing out photos.

All information we have gathered has been sent to the police force of jurisdiction. We have received spur of the moment information, project information, and I am very pleased that my team and I can honestly say that we are helping take down the unpleasant idiots who are involved in local crime. More will be coming…at the right time. We pledge to continue gathering information and passing it on to the agency best suited to act on it. The moment we find Meagan Pilon is the moment we leave that area behind. The criminality does not impact us, that is the business of the police…but we will keep feeding the information.

If you know anything at all, no matter how big or small, make an anonymous TIP at

+12267022728.

Do the right thing.

We have received so much information over the last few days.

Each piece adds up and for the first time we have verified a lot of details.

Please, if you know something…let us know…help us find Meagan, help us help the family.

After this amount of time, no evidence will exist to connect the person(s) involved. Just give her to us and we leave.

Thank you. +12267022728 – Send us a TIP

June 22, 2020 – Planning a Search

Undertaking an extensive search such as the one scheduled for Lisa Maas this summer takes a lot of planning. The process began in February with reaching out to the landowner and discussing the logistics of excavating a roughly 45-foot section of crevice in the Niagara Escarpment. Safety needed to be taken into account, along with the the new Covid-19 restrictions. As we moved into spring, we reached out to local businesses to donate equipment needed to remove the garbage, provide water, food and lodging, to name but a few. Last week, we visited the site with our forensic consultant, Lelia Watamaniuk from the U of T, along with others, to plan out the excavation in detail.

Many factors were considered including minimizing the impact to flora and fauna and the safest way to remove the garbage. We first heard about this area via tips several years ago but only last November did Matthew Nopper and Nick Oldrieve finally locate it. Even if we don’t bring Lisa home, we will be removing decades of garbage which will improve the environment and make the area safer and cleaner for future generations. Thanks to all the volunteers and companies whose donations help make these searches possible, and who help bring hope to the families of the missing.

Keep talking, keep listening, and keep sending us your tips! Anonymous Tip Line: 226-702-2728

June 12, 2020 – Search for Joe Moore Continues

This morning, Nick Oldrieve, Matthew Nopper and Melanie Lambert from PBMH joined Director of Human Remains Detection, Sherri Hall, who along with another handler, searched a wooded area near the Davison Centre for evidence related to the disappearance of Joe Moore. We want to thank the Davidson Centre and City of Kincardine for closing off the trails to allow this search. June 9, 2020 – Search for James Candy

On June 6 and 7, our Western Canada Team Lead, Aimee Oliver, planned and participated in a search for missing Albertan, James Candy. James disappeared on August 6, 2017, from his family farm located between Vegerville and Two Hills. Organized by Aimee, with the assistance of our Director of Research and Analysis Melissa Harwood and the Canadian Canine Search Corps, this was the first search which Please Bring Me Home has implemented outside of Ontario, so an important milestone. The volunteers, which included nine human detection dogs and their handlers, searched several remote forested properties identified as areas of interest.

While no evidence tied to James was found, the search helped eliminate a large swath of land, thus helping future searchers narrow their focus. A big thanks to all of the volunteers who participated in this search, our incredible Western Canada Team Lead Aimee, and Karen Somerville of CCSC who made the partnership with PBMH happen. A special thanks goes to Pomeroy Hotel in Vegreville for donating rooms and facilities to searchers.

June 5, 2020 – We are expanding…

We are currently seeking volunteers to join our teams in Alberta, Ontario and Quebec. This is an unpaid, volunteer position and the hours vary. We welcome applicants from across Canada, however, these are the teams we are currently looking to build and expand. While we will review all applications, we are looking for strong investigative and research skills, typically gained from having worked in law enforcement, journalism or a similar related field. Anyone interested in volunteering as an investigator, please email nick.oldrieve@pleasebringmehome.com or send us a private message via our Facebook page. June 2, 2020 – The Search for Lois Hanna Continues

The search continues. Today, we searched a property in connection with the disappearance of Lois Hanna. Sherri Hall, Director of Human Remains Detection, and Melanie Lambert, Director of Case Analysis, attended the subject site. Also on scene were three members from Ontario Search and Recovery Canines and four human remains detection dogs. An area of interest was identified which will be investigated further. This summer is looking to be busy, with searches scheduled for Lisa Maas, Lois Hanna, Neil McDougall and Joe Moore. Apathy and complacency are what we fight every day. May 20, 2020 – Searching for Lisa Maas

This morning we began planning for our first big search of 2020. With reduced Covid-19 restrictions and practising social distancing, our Search and Rescue Leader, Ted Phillips, Director of Human Remains Detection, Sherri Hall, Matthew Nopper and Nick Oldrieve, visited a secluded location near the Irish Block Road. Sherri took one of her human remains detection dogs back to a crevice which is an area of interest. We plan to excavate the crevice in search of the remains of Lisa Maas.

April 20, 2020 – Remains of Catherine Jones Located

Another missing person has been brought home. The remains of Catherine Jones, missing since 2008, have been located. Catherine Jones was last heard from by her family in 2008. Not having any children and living alone, she was not in close contact with any family members. When Christmas cards from family members were returned, they called her phone to find it disconnected. They attempted to call all Catherine Jones in Toronto in the chance she had moved.

Again, they hit a roadblock. They hoped that she would eventually reach out once she settled down someplace. This never happened. When her estranged brother was sick and dying in 2018, the family again searched for Catherine to inform her of her brother’s illness. Unable to find her, they searched death records via the Ministry of Gov’t and Consumer Services which is responsible for maintaining these files.

No record of her death was found. Family members then called eleven Toronto municipal run Long Term Care Homes and each one said there was no Catherine Jones registered nor had she ever been registered in any of the municipal long term care homes. Last year, Catherine was officially reported missing to the Toronto Police Service who started their own investigation in August of 2019. Family members then reached out to us at Please Bring Me Home to help bring awareness to this unusual case.

Nick Oldrieve spoke with Detective David Coffey of the Toronto Police Service who was assigned the case. Det. Coffey said he would be searching government agencies for record of Catherine and welcomed our organization’s agenda to bring awareness to these types of cases. Det. Coffey sent a request for a death record check to the province which also resulted in the same negative results. This was not the entirety of the investigation but all other avenues were exhausted. Eventually, Catherine’s Health Records, which Det. Coffey obtained via a judicially authorized Production Order, pointed to the likelihood that Catherine was deceased. Again, he sent a request to the Special Access Unit of the Ministry of Gov’t and Consumer Services to check for Death records and, again, the results were negative.

Fortunately, Catherine’s medical records pointed Det. Coffey in the direction of St. Joseph’s Hospital, where Catharine had received the majority of her medical care. He followed up with their Records Department who confirmed that Catherine was, in fact deceased, and had been since 2008. Based on the information received from St. Joseph’s Hospital, the Special Access Unit of the Ministry of Gov’t and Consumer Services were able to locate the Death Notification from the hospital dated October 8th, 2008. They explained that the information received from St. Joseph’s was insufficient to link it directly to the birth record of Catherine since the record simply provided the name and d.o.b of a “Cathy JONES”. There was no next of kin provided, no parental information and no place of birth provided. Further, the birth record of Catherine was under the name of Catherine GOW, her maiden name, which further exacerbated the issue.

The data collected from Catherine was simply not enough to connect it to Catherine’s birth record and this was the reason for the negative result regarding Death Records. Catherine’s remains were handed over to a public trustee, however, without sufficient information as to her identify, her family was never contacted. We believe that this case highlights a serious process gap which may be preventing other families from locating their loved ones.

The public has no access to these unclaimed remains held by trustees. We believe a website needs to be created which lists all of the unclaimed remains held by public trustees so family members and authorities can search the database. How many other remains of deceased people have been turned over to public trustees because they died in a hospital without proper identification or next of kin? Please Bring Me Home intends to fight for better access to unclaimed remains across the country.

We and Catherine’s family are very thankful that Det. Coffey was able to help bring Catherine home.

January 2, 2020 – PBMH Seeking Tips for Wesley Foulds

Wesley Foulds was last seen on March 4, 2009.  Family members later found out that he did not show up for his doctors appointment in Burnaby at 11:30 a.m. and did not show up for work at 2 p.m.  His last known outgoing call was placed at 10:14 a.m.  Within the first 24 hours of the search, his truck was located in Hayward Lake Recreation parking lot in Mission, B.C.  Two small drops of blood were found in the truck which were confirmed to be from Wesley. Due to the small amount, it is possible that this has nothing to do with his disappearance. His cell phone was found in his truck, however, his wallet has never been located. Large searches took place around where his truck was found without any success.

Even the smallest detail can assist with this case. Do not doubt yourself.

December 23, 2019 – PBMH Searching for Ashley Simpson

In February 2016, Ashley Simpson and her boyfriend Derek Favell, moved to Salmon Arm, British Columbia, where the pair lived in a trailer. Ashley vanished on April 27, 2016. Two days later, Favell sent text messages to Simpson’s family in Ontario, asking whether they had heard from her. He said she packed a pink suitcase and left on foot in the night. Since 2015, at least five women have vanished along the 75-kilometre stretch between Vernon and Sicamous in the north Okanagan Valley area. Only one of those women, 18-year-old Traci Genereaux, has been found. Police have not made a connection between these missing women.

December 20, 2019 – PBMH First Team Meeting

Today was a big day for us. This idea which was born back in 2016 from a couple friends looking for missing people, to Nick, myself and Melissa founding Please Bring Me Home in January of 2018, to the W5 episode, has now taken another big step forward. Today, we had our first board meeting with our new members who bring with them years of experience in law enforcement, forensics, search and rescue, private investigation, marketing, social media, finance and a host of other skills. We have been humbled by the response we’ve received since the W5 episode aired and are excited for the continued growth of the organization.

CTV London’s Scott Miller has been reporting about our efforts to find the missing from the beginning. Tune in to CTV London news tonight to watch his video report on the growth of our organization.

December 10, 2019 – PBMH Teams up with Guardians of Our Angels Missing Persons Canada

The importance of this partnership cannot be understated. Please Bring Me Home’s main focus will be on cold case missing persons across Canada. Guardians of Our Angels Missing Persons Canada will focus on current missing persons cases across Canada. Both organizations will share information, techniques, and expertise in order to do everything possible to bring missing people home. Neither organization focuses solely on recovery. There is an investigation process that goes into each case and sometimes the missing people they search for are found alive and well. To date, Please Bring Me Home and it’s members have assisted in locating 16 missing persons, 13 of which were found alive. They have also ran multiple searches for missing people who are believed to be deceased.  Guardians of Our Angels Missing Persons Canada and its members have been involved with 65 cases. This includes recoveries, running searches and investigating each case. When both organizations were asked about these numbers, they were hesitant to share, “because it is barely a dent in a nationwide crisis. We not only have to do better, we need to do better.” Any cases held by Guardians of Our Angels Missing Persons Canada that are deemed cold or stagnant, will be transferred to Please Bring Me Home and their investigation team will look at the cases with fresh eyes. Please Bring Me Home will also utilize all of their resources to assist in these cases. If anyone reaches out to the Guardians of Our Angels Team in hopes they can help with a cold case, their team will assist them in getting in touch with the appropriate member of Please Bring Me Home. Any cases that Please Bring Me Home has deemed as current, will be transferred to Guardians of Our Angels Missing Persons Canada and their investigation team will look at these cases with fresh eyes. The Guardians of Our Angels Team have the resources and contacts in order to properly assist with these cases. If anyone reaches out to Please Bring Me Home in hopes they can help with a current case, their team will assist them with getting in touch with the appropriate member of the Guardians of Our Angels Team. There will be a link on each organizations website that will refer contact to the appropriate team. By making partnerships like this across Canada, it will more effectively utilize resources. Working together, will not only give families the hope they desperately need, but potentially become the new standard for missing people. Sincerely, The Please Bring Me Home Team & The Guardians of our Angels Missing Persons Canada Team

November 10, 2019 – PBMH Team Begins Searching Crevices for Lisa Maas

One of the constant theories about the disappearance of Lisa Maas is that her body was thrown down one of the countless crevices between Annan and Woodford. The police conducted searches of crevices in Woodford behind the party house and also on the West Rocks in Owen Sound. Today we searched one such crevice near the Irish Block Road. Our estimate was that anywhere between five to seven feet of garbage had been thrown down into the bottom of the crevice including an old wood stove, car parts, bottles, cans, etc. Some of items we dated from the 1960s to the 1980s, with many much older. We got to the bottom after a lot of work but lots of other crevices exist in the old Sydenham Township. Many are very difficult to access. This crevice was identified as one which we should investigate further due to its location. As the winter weather approaches, very few days remain where we can search. We will return again to continue the search of other crevices.

August 28, 2019 – Please Bring Me Home to be Featured on W5

W5, Canada’s most-watched current affairs and documentary program, will feature Please Bring Me Home in an upcoming episode this fall. This spring, host Avery Haines and crew followed Nick Oldrieve and Matthew Nopper as they worked in the field to try and locate the remains of missing mother-to-be, Lisa Maas.

Importantly, the episode also focuses on the many other missing people in our region, a microcosm of a vaster problem across our country. The episode features interviews with family members of the local missing men, women and children and provides a glimpse of how this impacts a family and community.

The episode also tells the stories of two men we helped locate, murder victim, Nolan Panchyshyn, and Terry Schope. We are thankful that W5 has chosen to shine a light on the missing people in our region and our efforts to find them. All of these people need to be brought home.

We also want to express our deepest gratitude to all of the people and companies who’ve donated their time, money, expertise and machinery to assist with our searches, and continue to do so. This wouldn’t happen without all of you. The trailer drops in three weeks. We will update then as to the exact air date.

August 25, 2019 – Searching Annan Area Properties for Lisa Maas

Thanks to Ryan Bossence from Bosco Pool & Spa of Stratford for assisting us in searching for Lisa Maas this past Thursday.

We began the day at the farmhouse where Lisa is believed to have driven away from in the early morning hours of Sunday, July 17. We searched around the barn this spring and a GPR scan done then resulted in finding an anomaly about a meter under a trough area.

Ryan dug up the area and discovered the anomaly was a group of large boulders. Next, we drove to a property of interest and removed one of several sunken barrels we’d found earlier from a swamp area. T

he barrel was filled with rocks and wood. Further investigation of this swamp is needed.

We also want to thank Chris Brown from Brown Property Maintenance and Construction for donating a load of fine gravel for a property we searched this spring.

Thanks to Chris, we were able to leave a drive shed area in good shape. The search continues.

July 17, 2019 – A Picture Says a Thousand Words

This is our working theory based on several tips. Now, we are not saying that the bra or scream were Lois, however, the fact that the scream was heard on the night she disappeared is interesting. Additionally, two to three hours later, a woman wearing peach coloured clothing was seen 2.5km to the north coming out of a bush lot before she disappeared again.

A year later, a woman’s bra was found in the gravel pit. The gravel pit to the south was a known meeting area for young couples. It is also very isolated. Did Lois use the large drainage ditch highlighted in red to escape her attacker? The fact that this ditch connects all three tips is interesting. During the summer of 1988, this drainage ditch would have been dry due to the drought that year.

July 11, 2019 – Lois Hanna Tip Leads to New Theory

Over the past month we have been investigating tips from the Kincardine and Lucknow areas related to the disappearance of Lois Hanna. Over a year ago we received a tip from a man who lived north of Lucknow in 1988.

Although he didn’t leave any contact information besides his name, we were recently able to track him down and speak with both him and his son. On the night of Lois’ disappearance, he awoke around 2 or 3 a.m. to a scream. He says it sounded like a woman screaming near his house – being summer, his bedroom window facing west was open. The scream was so loud that he checked on his family to ensure it wasn’t one of them.

Believing the sound came from the west, he got in his car and drove to the next concession, turned around and drove back to a logging trail beside his home. He drove south on the logging trail towards a secluded gravel pit no longer in use. Before reaching the gravel pit, he turned around, went back home and fell asleep.

A year later, his young son found a bra at the same gravel pit. On Wednesday, July 10, we met with several of Lois’ friends along with this man’s son who had found the bra. Based on these discussions we have a possible timeline: July 3rd 1988 11:30 p.m. – Lois left the Lucknow homecoming dance and drove home. July 4th 1988 12:30 a.m. – Lois Hanna’s car was seen in her driveway by a neighbor; the garbage had also been put out at the end of the driveway.

Between 12:30 and 1:00 a.m. – The tipster arrived at his home southeast of Holyrood after picking up his children at the Lucknow Homecoming dance. The tipster went to sleep around 1 a.m. and woke up at least one hour later, perhaps more, to a loud scream. The tipster believed the scream sounded human. He checked on his family before getting in his car and driving west to the next concession. Not seeing anyone, he turned around and drove back east to a logging trail beside his house which lead to an unused gravel pit.

He didn’t see or hear anything else and turned around before reaching the secluded gravel pit. He drove home and went back to sleep. 5:30 a.m. – Two people driving east along the next sideroad north of the gravel pit area saw a female wearing peach coloured clothing walking out of a wood lot (Lois is believed to have been wearing peach coloured clothing). Later, they would say the woman resembled Lois Hanna (both people knew Lois).

From what we’ve been told, once the female saw the vehicle, she ran back into the bush. The location of this bush lot is 2.5 km north of where the scream was heard. A drainage ditch which runs directly beside the gravel pit and logging trail, travels north to the exact same bush lot where a woman wearing peach coloured clothing emerged before disappearing again. Northeast of this area is the Hanna family farm. Being raised on a farm, it is likely Lois would have been familiar with the drainage ditch system of southern Bruce County.

One year later, the tipster’s son was out walking around the gravel pit area with a cousin when he found a white bra. The only sign of human activity in the area were gun casings which he had come to collect. Due to his young age, he simply threw the bra back where he found it. Both tipsters did not immediately report their stories to authorities until much later as they did not connect them at the time to Lois’ disappearance.

Thanks to media attention related to our website, the son decided last year to report finding the bra. We are thankful to both tipsters for coming forward.

May 15, 2019 – The Search for Lisa Maas Takes to the Skies

May 6, 2019 – Search for Lisa Maas Continues in Annan

This past weekend we conducted one of our largest searches for Lisa Maas. Our focus was on a property closely linked to Lisa and one of the last places she was allegedly seen in the early morning hours of July 17, 1988. Areas of interest included a barn, both the interior and the land surrounding the barn, several wells and other structures.

On Friday we prepped the barn and shed by cleaning out debris and garbage so we could use ground penetrating radar (GPR) to identify any buried targets. On Saturday and Sunday, we dug in a field south of the barn, beside a ramp and around the south and east foundation wall. We had two backhoes/excavators working in tandem, which was a first for us and enabled us to cover more ground.

We also used GPR in the barn, shed, a basement and several other locations. We also used a six-foot wide drone with infrared technology to scan the property and identify any anomalies. We are not aware of any other volunteer group which conducts such large scale searches for missing people. Again, none of this would have been possible without the experience, guidance and donations of several people and organizations listed below.

While we didn’t find Lisa, we have ruled out several large areas. We do have other areas of interest which we plan to investigate further, along with conducting searches for other missing people listed on our website.

Firstly, a big thank you to the landowners. Without their permission, none of this would have happened. They showed great compassion and a willingness to help.

Barry Kruisselbrink of Barry’s Construction was unable to offer a machine this time but worked to find and finance an excavator provided by Adam MacDonnell.

New to our team this year was Ryan Bossence from Bosco Pool and Spa of Stratford who spent three days digging and working at the property with his backhoe.

Once again, we had assistance from Forensic Anthropologist Lelia Watamaniuk under the direction of Tracey Rogers from the University of Toronto, along with two forensic anthropology students,

Alex and Vanessa. Bill Bolton and his canine partner Sheba from Advanced Tactical Training Search and Rescue were on site along with Chris Martin from Sensors and Software who again provided ground penetrating radar equipment.

New this year was SkyX which specializes in aeronautical and robotic technology. The SkyX team brought up an unmanned aerial vehicle which took infrared images of the entire property which will be analyzed for any anomalies.

Thanks also needs to go to Miller Waste for the use of a dumpster, Ernie Coates of Sutton Sound Realty for use of his generator, Sunbelt Rentals, Quality Inn and South of the Surface Dive Shop.

Lastly, this weekend was only possible thanks to the financial support provided by Jason Legge from The Cooperators, Fox Custom Construction and Walkerton Toyota.

As always, if you have information about the whereabouts of any missing person, please contact your local police, OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Alternatively, send us an anonymous tip.

Someone does know something.

July 12, 2018 – Maas Search Returns to Annan

As we close in on the 30th anniversary of Lisa Maas’ disappearance, we are actively digging at a number of sites. Today we dug up a well in close vicinity of the house in Annan where Lisa was allegedly seen leaving in her vehicle at around 4:30 a.m. on July 18, 1988. As far as we know, the well has never been investigated by police. We also dug up a cement pad which ground-penetrating radar indicated as a location of interest. While we did not find anything significant at this location, it is another step closer in the search for the remains of Lisa Maas.

This was not the ending that we wanted but we are glad that we could help bring Terry back home. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

We are now officially looking into the missing persons case of Joseph Moore from Kincardine. Joe was last seen on October 31, 2012. During that day, he was seen hanging around the Davidson Centre in Kincardine, Ontario.

At the time, he was living at Princess Court on Princess Street. Upon a search of his home, no evidence was found that Joe was planning on leaving. Approximately a year after Joe went missing, a black coat washed up just north of Boiler Beach, at the end of Bruce Avenue. It has not been confirmed that this was Joe’s coat, however, the family believes it matches a coat that Joe was wearing around the time he went missing.
