Video footage of Kandice riding her bike was obtained by police which showed her in the 200 block of Third Avenue South in Saskatoon on May 26, 2015. Her bike has not been found. She is believed to have been in an abusive relationship with her boyfriend. One of her friends created a Facebook page to publicize the case. Police have done many segments on the local news, especially around Missing Persons Week and Christmas. The Saskatoon Police Service also produced a week-long feature which included Kandice’s case which can be viewed on their website and Facebook page.
