Cheryl Rowe

Cheryl Rowe was picked up by a friend on December 22nd 2011 and hasn't been seen or heard from since. She was seen in the Rathfon Crescent area of Richmond Hill near Yonge and Carrville streets. Cheryl was very close with her family and always kept in close contact with them. Cheryl had struggled with mental health issues in the past which may have been the result of substance abuse. After Christmas shopping together on Dec. 21, Cheryl had planned to meet with her daughter Kristina in a nearby park at around 11 p.m. with a bag of fresh clothes for the following day. Kristina says she spoke to Cheryl, who was running late, but told her she'd be leaving the Browndale Crescent address when her ride arrived. Family report Cheryl leaving with a bag in hand at around midnight, after a car picked her up. Cheryl never made it to meet Kristina and she was reported missing by her daughter immediately. There have been extensive searches executed by the York Regional Police in the Mill Pond and greenbelt areas of Richmond Hill. In addition to these searches there have been multiple media release’s and rewards posted in the hopes of gaining information to help locate Cheryl but thus far these efforts have been unsuccessful.
