On January 29, 1975, nine-year-old Simon Wilson left his apartment in Toronto to go to school like he did every day. Unfortunately, Simon did not make it to school. The sewers and creek near the apartment building where Simon lived were searched extensively in the days after he disappeared. His dad suspected that Simon was down in the sewers, a theory that seemed to have credence with the police as well. During their searches, they found a suitcase with food and drinks which had been left for Simon. He was reportedly heard in the sewers though it has never been confirmed to be Simon.

Additional Information
On May 14, 1975, Tracey Bruney, a 5-year-old student, was abducted from St. Clare Separate School on Northcliffe Blvd in Toronto after her mother dropped her off. Like Simon, she never attended class. Later that day around 12:30 p.m., police responded to a 911 call near Lake Shore Boulevard West and Forty Second Street. A 13-year-old boy found Tracey in a small body of water in Marie Curtis Park, where she had suffered severe medical trauma. She died shortly after being rushed to the hospital.
