The 30-year-old had been at Club Renaissance in downtown Kitchener that Saturday night, celebrating a friend’s birthday. After the bar, he went back to a friend’s house where he lived. David’s cousin arrived at the house where David lived the next morning to pick him up for a ball hockey game, only to discover that David’s car was missing. David failed to answer the door nor did he answer his cell phone. A dog matching David’s dog was discovered running around the neighborhood a few days later, and his car was found parked around the corner a few weeks later. No trace of David has ever been found.
