Matthew Allan Richard Taylor was living on the streets in Canmore, Alberta at the time of his disappearance. It is believed that he and a friend were hitchhiking when they were picked up by a truck driver who promised them drugs to accompany him on his drive to Surrey, BC where he was scheduled to unload a delivery. It is believed that they stopped in Sicamous due to the weather and spent the night at a truck stop just outside of the Sicamous area. Matt hasn't been seen or heard from since October 30th 1999. There here have been no searches done to the family’s knowledge.
