Marshal Iwaasa

Case Analysis

Marshal was last seen by family on November 17, 2019. He told his mother he was visiting a storage unit he rented with his sister. His storage code and key was used on November 18; two hours later, the code and key was again used to leave the facility. His burned out truck was found in a remote area near Pemberton, British Columbia, on November 25, a 14-hour drive from his last known location. Marshal’s sister was notified about the truck on November 26; that same day, he was reported missing. The RCMP have conducted searches near the area of the truck but Marshal has not been located. Lethbridge police said that from the onset of their investigation, Marshal’s disappearance has been considered suspicious, but there is no “credible, corroborated or compelling information to suggest foul play or that the occurrence is criminal in nature.”
