Catherine Wendy Lafortune

Wendy Catherine Lafortune was last seen on May 1, 2024, in Sudbury, Ontario. She was walking on Lasalle Blvd, on the same side of the road as Jett-Landry Music Ltd at 3:36 p.m. She proceeded to walk towards the Notre Dame intersection. At 4:10 p.m., she was recorded on surveillance video at the Montrose Mall. The camera recorded her across the street on the sidewalk. She continued walking and eventually took a left turn onto Apollo Terrace but did not appear to enter the co-op, instead taking another slight right turn and walking in front of the Olivera Building at 721 Lasalle Blvd. She has not been seen since.

Additional Information

This is very out of character for Wendy who has a family and children who deeply miss her. Wendy has not been in touch with any family, friends and has not accessed her bank account or social media platforms. There has been many ground searches conducted by family members, patrol operations, criminal investigations, search and rescue, emergency response, K9 and North Shore Search and Rescue.
