| Case : | Shaelene Bell was last seen on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021, when she left her apartment in the 9300-block of Edward Street in Chilliwack, British Columbia, around 8:30 p.m. Her 2021 Hyundai Tucson that she was driving was found in the 47000-block of Ballam Road two days later on Monday, Feb. 1. Shaelene's purse and phone were found in her car.
An RCMP dive team spent a day scouring the murky Fraser River near where the Hyundai was found. Meanwhile, a police helicopter searched from overhead. Volunteers were also out for multiple days, looking for any sign of the missing woman. The family of the missing Chilliwack mother is now offering a $10,000 reward for information about her whereabouts. Shaelene is described as having bleached blonde hair and brown eyes, standing five-foot-two and weighing 95 pounds. Shaelene has multiple piercings and tattoos.
Update: Shaelene's body was located by police in June of 2021 in the Fraser River near Coquitlam. There was no evidence to support criminal involvement in the death. |
