Catherine Jones – Located

JONES, Catherine Isobel (Gow)

Catherine's last known address was 62 Close Avenue apt 301, Toronto
Ontario.  Her family spoke to her on the phone in the springtime of
2008 but after a Christmas card was returned to sender, her family
became concerned about her whereabouts. She had expressed to
her cousin that she was not well during their conversation but she
did not elaborate on the statement. There has been no sign of
Jones and she was officially reported missing in 2019.

The reason she was not immediately reported missing by family is due to Catherine "stepping away" from time to time in the past.  When Catherine's brother passed away, it stated in the obituary that Catherine was deceased. Family of Catherine's decided to check into this themselves.  There is no death certificate, nor is Catherine listed in any retirement setting within the city of Toronto Ontario.

Update: Det. David Coffey with the Toronto Police Service was able to locate Catherine's remains which were being held by a public trustee. Catherine passed away in 2008. For more details, please see our News section.
