Ashley Simpson – Located

SIMPSON, Ashley

Ashley Simpson was last seen on April 27, 2016. Ashley, her boyfriend,
and a friend visited Margaret Falls, hiking through dense
forest to the waterfall north of Salmon Arm across from Shuswap Lake.
The couple fought for the entire trip.  The friend dropped them off
at the trailer, where they were still arguing.
Ashley Simpson was living with her boyfriend at a property on
Yankee Flats Road, near Enderby, when she vanished.  She had been asking her boyfriend for
money to go home for a baby shower in Niagara on the Lake.
Ashley was then planning on working with her father for the
summer at the Lodge outside Huntsville.
Ashley lived and worked at the Sasquatch Crossing and its
sister motel The Buffalo Inn for three seasons, working in the
kitchens and managing reservations.  She had traveled from
Ontario to the northern B.C. work camps with her father Jon, who
worked as a cook.
There has been speculation that Ashley may be one of 5 girls that
have went missing from the same area, however RCMP dismiss this theory.
There were no concerns from her family in regards to her Mental
health and foul play is strongly suspected.

Update: Ashley's remains were discovered by police in December of 2021 and her boyfriend charged with her murder.

To date, numerous tips have been received and been
fully investigated.  Friends and associates have been interviewed
and leads followed-up on.  Unfortunately, Ashley remains missing.
Police searched the property on Yankee Flats Road in
May of 2016.
