Kristofer has been missing since January 26th/ May 17th 2019. The dates are as such because Kris's family wasn't notified about the car until May. Kris recently moved from Edmonton to the Lower Mainland for a job at a construction company. Kristofer went to work the morning of January 25th in Maple Ridge and then the Good Life Gym in Burnaby later that same day. His vehicle was found on January 27th by RCMP. Kris loves the gym, and calls fitness his “passion”, adding the gym is one of his favorite places to spend his spare time. There was a purchase on his debit card at 1pm in New Westminster at a grocery store. There was no video footage, however based on what was bought, Kris's mother believes it was him. It took from January 27th, when his vehicle was found until May 6th to connect the vehicle to Kristofers missing persons case. Even though the vehicle was found on Januray 27th, it was not towed for 3 months. Based on the photographs and report from January 27th, and May 6th when it was towed, any evidence in the vehicle was gone and the vehicle was broken into multiple times.
