Case Analysis

On March 17, 2022 Nick went missing from a bar called Moose and Goose in St Catherines Ontario. He was inside the bar at 11:00pm and was reportedly having a great time with his friends, dancing, and drinking. He went out for a cigarette, however bar staff would not allow him back inside. He called his mother from his friends phone and she said that she would pick him up. He called her back 10 times throughout waiting to be picked up, all of which came from a private number so his mother could not call him back. On one of the calls, he told his mother that he was by Collegiate Secondary School on Niagara Street but, Nick sounded confused. Nick's mother went to pick him up at 2:00am. She attended the school location where Nick said he was, and then attended the bar to search for him. She drove around both areas for some time and eventually believed that he ended up at another party. This was common for Nick to do. After the next day went by without hearing from Nick, his mother was worried and called Nick's brother to tell him that Nick had not shown up yet. At that time, Nick's brother told his mother to call the police and report a missing person.
