Chance Gavin Daniel Kay

35-year-old Chance Kay was last seen around 1:00 a.m. on Friday, March 29, 2024, in the area of the Skyways Motel on Highway 11 in Gravenhurst, Ontario. Earlier that evening, Chance had gone to meet an acquaintance after borrowing his common-law partner’s vehicle to travel to Bracebridge. At some point later, he left the motel area on foot, leaving his cell phone behind. His vehicle was later located abandoned at the motel.

There were two unconfirmed sightings of a man matching Chance’s description walking south along Winhara Road later that day. Police have also confirmed video footage showing Chance crossing the highway at some point after he was last seen, though the exact time has not been released publicly.

Chance’s disappearance is considered highly out of character. Those who know him describe him as devoted to his family, and his sudden loss of contact has left loved ones deeply concerned for his safety and well-being.
