Every article I read says Lisa had just moved to Owen Sound the day before her disappearance. I had met her on many prior occasions in Owen Sound. She had many friends there. She had a steady boyfriend as well that she lived with in Owen Sound.
I have thought of her many times over the years.
You are correct, Lisa did live in Owen Sound, however, her parents lived near Chatsworth so maybe that is where the confusion comes from. The day before she disappeared she moved some of her belongings to her parents house after breaking up with her boyfriend.

I wish we were privy to more information that the police have, like the locations of the important areas (car found, party house, locations searched etc.) I know the FBI has Geographic Profiling Software that might be useful. Not sure if they have a body dump geographic potential type software or not. I understand why they wouldn’t do that (protect the integrity of a potential case), but having some of that information released to the public might get some different guesses of where she might be. I don’t know. I was 18 when this happened and have wondered for many years what has happened to her. I hope we find her. My heart goes out to the family and close friends.
We have spoken to a former master tracker and yes police agencies in Canada do have access to such software or formulas. We are aware of this formula and how it relates to Lisa’s case.

One case in Manitoba remains unsolved … the disappearance of Amber McFarland who has been missing since October 17,2008.
